I stayed in this country house in Mae Rim, Chiang Mai for two months and felt like I had chosen the right place from the first day.Away from the hustle and bustle, surrounded by rice fields, mountain views and insect songbirds, awakened by sunshine and breeze every morning, the days are particularly slow and especially cured. The villa itself is very spacious and clean, the design is simple and practical, the light is good, airy, and there are all the living facilities.The kitchen is suitable for long-term residents to cook meals, go to a nearby fair to buy fresh ingredients, and make a simple dish yourself, but it has a more sense of life than in the city. The host and the housekeeper were both kind, patient and responsive to issues encountered.The host often send me good desserts🍮.The motorbike was broken, and the host's nephew took us to fix the car for the first time, which made me feel particularly at ease. Although it is rural, life is not at all inconvenient.There are convenience stores and local markets nearby, and most of your daily needs can be solved by a 10 minute bike ride. And there are actually a lot of interesting small shops and cafes on this side of Mae Rin County, some of which are unique, combining Thai North culture and hand art.Go shopping and daze at your leisure, and feel that life has a little more relaxation and a sense of surprise.I posted some pictures of life around. All in all, it was a very relaxing, comfortable and warm living experience.If you're looking for a place that really slows down your body and mind, I would highly recommend staying here for a while, maybe you'll be like me and don't really want to leave.

I stayed here for one month while working remotely here in Chiang Mai! I really enjoy the area around Chang Khlan road too, it’s close enough to both local and more “touristy” things to do as well. The apartment is well equipped for working remotely too, the WiFi is fast and there’s a nice table to work at as well. Staying at the Astra is quite nice as well. I enjoy the pool here as well as the gym and used both often. A bit of noise here and there, as many people stay here for shorter durations, but nothing out of ordinary. Would recommend this place for anyone who wants to stay in Chiang Mai!

Astra Condo is a great location to stay in Chiang Mai, and of all the airbnb bookings we made during several weeks throughout Thailand, it was our absolute favorite place to stay. Fy makes things easy and is available when needed. You just can't go wrong staying here (and except for some cosmetic cracks, the building withstood the 7.7 earthquake in Myanmar).

We stayed for 4 nights in March 2025 and asked Kate before booking would respond very patiently, this time we were traveling with the family, the family was happy with the tidying up, Kate also prepared a lot of fruit, food and drinking water for free, the accommodation was quiet but it was a bit far from the city, a question sent in tourism would also be answered very quickly, Kate was also helpful in introducing the great value of the Thai massage and also helped us make an appointment, the massage and the family were satisfied, everything was very nice thank you Kate

Lovely place. Great Location. Cool AC and good wifi (three of us were working remote). We especially enjoyed the rooftop area in the evenings - once the sun went down. Very helpful staff on hand. We all agreed the beds were comfortable. Very close to several markets (morning & night). Only minor issue with the room was that the refrigerator did not work very well - but not much of a concern as we ate out almost every meal. We would definitely stay here again.

Astra condo was great both with respect to locality and stay. loved the vibe and the locality was away from hussle bustle still within the reach of everything which you need for a vacation. 7/11 was with in 100m 10-15 mins walk from old city thapae gate 10-15 mins to airport by grab / taxi you can have a cool walk from the place to the old city nd enjoy a street shops and market offering various local products as well as local cuisine also🙂

Communication with the host was perfect The washing machine smelled a little, and the bed cushion was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, I liked everything. The house was a little small, and the location was really good.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! Tucked away from the city's hustle and bustle, it offers a peaceful retreat. Despite being off - the - beaten - path, there are small convenient stores nearby, which is really handy. Since we hired a car, getting around was a breeze. I'd recommend families traveling here to consider car - hiring for easy exploration. The driver, Chat, was incredibly friendly. He made every journey enjoyable with his warm personality. The breakfast served daily was outstanding. For the price, it was such a great deal, filled with a wide variety of delicious items. The host and her husband were extremely helpful. They provided us with local tips, recommendations on places to visit, and made sure we had everything we needed. I can't recommend this place enough! It truly made my trip unforgettable.

The place is exactly as photo, cozy vibes, felt like home. We love the terrace at the back of the house, breezing with sounds of birds. House is fully equipped with necessary items that you need. Location is good enough if you have bike or car. Will definitely to come back again!!

it was excellent, the condo look really good, the swiming pool // gym are super nice, the appartment is well furnished, the bed is comfortable, there's 2 AC so the temperature is perfect, you have a lot of different equipment which is nice. it's at 10 min from Maya mall 5 min from a "food court" not far from some good coffee shop/ bars very easy and cheap to go to every point of interest in the city with bolt//grab (10min from everything) and the host is really reactive if you have any question or want to extend your stay 🙌

I love the accommodation. I've already stayed in this condo a few times, so I booked it knowing the good location, reasonable time, and price. It was well maintained, and I had a good stay before checking out. However, the entrance to the Royal Building is on the opposite side of the center, so you have to go around a bit. I'm satisfied except for that.

Really great value for money, there are many amenities, wifi works well, good for work, but for some reason my laptop wouldn't connect (never happened before) so just be mindful of that. Location is unbeatable! It was clean and the host was responsive, overall easy 5 stars!

Fantastic apartment for a 3 week stay. The facilities were exceptional - great swimming pool and gym, with a beautiful outside retreat like feel. The apartment had an excellent design, it was very comfortable, and luxurious. All up it was an A+ stay.
