Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Chatsworth, Los Angeles

The home is located near LAX so, very convenient if flying into the area. You do hear the airplanes landing and taking off. However, the location is convenient for those seeking a comfortable place near amenities and easy access to the West Side of LA. My family enjoyed their stay and were very comfortable in the offerings of the home. I would recommend this location for future stays as the neighborhood is welcoming with many stores nearby.

Excellent host and excellent place! Clean, modern, also a great backyard. This was a perfect pick for a family of four visiting LA for a long weekend.

Hallgrim was a very gracious host. We were moving from another Airbnb & needed a place to stow our refrigerated food for 3 hours. He easily accommodated that & ultimately said we could just check in early. One caveat - be sure you understand the street parking protocol. It works but it can be tight, especially late at night. We always found a spot but you will need good parallel parking skills. The house is personal & eclectic & you will feel like you are staying at a good friend’s house. This is not the usual “just the basics” corporate Airbnb. It is a home. My daughter & I felt very comfortable staying here & would definitely book it again. The Canyon has a unique history. In addition to looking thru the beautiful coffee table book Hallgrim has left out for his guests to enjoy, you must watch Echo in the Canyon for an extended stroll through the musical history of this unique canyon. You’ll be singing Mamas and Papas songs on your way down to Lilly’s Cafe in no time!

Third time staying here and always a pleasure! Patricia is very responsive. The house is spacious and beautiful. The area is peaceful yet close to lots of things to see in LA. Amenities are great - pretty much anything you need they have here. Perfect for families or groups. Kid friendly as well. Will definitely be back.

Perfect for three adults and a charming location. Gorgeous, clean space with comfortable mattresses, great AC for the warm months and a fan for the white noise lovers. Peaceful neighborhood, walkable to amazing restaurants, shops, parks, and a grocery store just around the corner. The place is thoughtfully stocked with drinks and amenities as well. We've stayed twice and would return again!

Gary was a great host. He gave clear instructions and was quick to respond. His place was perfect for us. It looked just like the photos. It was comfortable and in the perfect location for our adventures (Dodgers and Universal). The neighborhood is great for families. It is very pretty with mature trees and a nearby park that my kids enjoyed. We'd love to stay again some time.

Me and my fiancé loved this place. Perfect location and getaway for his birthday. Everything was up to standards , sanitary and well worth the price we paid. I highly recommend this listing ! Location may be an issue if you’re not renting a vehicle other wise this place is amazing!

Perfect location and very nice apartment, with fresh high-quality linens and towels. It is fully-priced and has some nice amenities, but in other ways does need some attention, esp. at the price. The TV was effectively non-functional — host said he would replace it but that wasn't going to help me. The kitchen is also outdated with a partially broken faucet and both too much clutter and yet some odd omissions: normal enough for a vacation rental, but for the price these should be taken care of. Harry is however a lovely gentleman and you will not regret the location.

Our place was clean, welcoming and check-in was seamless. Great area with plenty of restaurants, shops, walking spaces to explore and hiking close by. Would stay again!

Great location for visiting LA. Unit looked just like the photos. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Easy directions to access the unit. We loved the parking spot and in unit laundry. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. I plan to stay there again the next time I’m in LA.

Gorgeous place! The pictures shown do not do it justice. It was extremely clean which is important to me and the decor was beautiful. Highly recommend!

It was great and worked out perfectly for what we needed it for.

Cliff was an excellent host and took care of my belongings. He was very understanding about my situation with the canceled flight and responded very quickly. Cliff even offered to refund me the missed night or extend my stay if necessary, although my other plans didn't allow for that. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, just what I needed after a busy day. I felt very comfortable there. For everyday needs, there is a Vons supermarket nearby (10-minute walk) with everything you need, as well as a bakery. Next door is a Starbucks and various restaurants. A bank for cash withdrawals is also not far away. The Metrolink station is only a 25-minute walk or a short Uber ride away. I used Cliff's Hideaway as a stopover for my next stay at Six Flags Park and can highly recommend it.

House was as expected. The host was extremely accommodating for our big group. Checkin was easy and seamless. The only issue we had was that WiFi didn’t work well in downstairs master. Other than that, this house was everything we needed and more. Irene was fantastic! I wish all hosts were like her.

5 stars! Liza and Pascal were gracious and welcoming hosts. Communication was smooth and responsive throughout our stay. The house was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our family—our kids especially loved the backyard and the pool! A wonderful experience overall. We’d definitely stay here again!

Vanessa’s Malibu Vista home was perfect for our family to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from Pepperdine. Vanessa went above and beyond to provide us with tables to use outside and help us to accommodate parking for our guests. We also had a barbecue to use.. There were 10 of us staying at her place and it worked perfectly with the two bathrooms on the main level and one bathroom upstairs. Although it was foggy most of the time we were there we got brief glimpses of the amazing ocean view. There were also outdoor places to keep warm by the fire heated table.

Gals place was a gem of a find. Extremely spacious and very clean. Had no issues during our stay and will definitely be back! This place is highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing stay! The place was spotless, cozy, and had the most stunning views. The host was brilliant—super friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough. Already thinking about when I can come back!

Fabulous place with amazing views across the city to the mountains. Unique landscaped gardens with pool and hot tub. It was amazing to have breakfast on the patio in the morning and look out at the views. If you like bird spotting this is a great place. We highly recommend requesting the home cooked food; we were served an amazing dinner on the patio by the hosts.

A great place to stay! My family came to California for a wedding and this place was amazing and convenient to everything that we needed. Min was super responsive whenever I ran into an issue. It was absolutely perfect since it was also a dog friendly house and we needed to step away for the wedding and so the dog had a safe place to be as well. Thank you!

This home was perfect for my whole family. I had to fill up the BBQ propane tank but I was reimbursed without a fuss. Great high quality grill, so many airbnbs have cheap/old BBQ’s, it was a treat to actually have a good performing grill for our Mothers Day BBQ. Amazing pool and backyard set up for my nieces. The only thing I could recommend is to cut down on some of the instruction texts, there were very long instructions that kind of said the same thing over and over, literally the smallest of nitpicks, because I’d rather have too much than too little! Don’t hesitate on this property for your next family gathering.
