If you're looking for a quiet place, I'm looking for more. The accommodation is located outside the town (a few kilometers away, which allows easy access to the various shops of Chateaubourg), on the first (and only) floor of a building. If your only close neighbors (the apartment next door) are respectful, you will be really quiet. The studio was perfectly clean, with all the necessary equipment (if necessary, as there seem to be a lot of mosquitoes, a mosquito net above the bed - there are some that are not very expensive and it is much more practical than putting one on the roof window - would be a plus). I read reviews about the bedding, for me, apart from a board, nothing will be firm enough, but I really slept well, without feeling uncomfortable or having aches. Ideal if you're looking for a stopover gîte.

Christine and JP's house is tastefully renovated, recovering original materials and textures, achieving a very warm atmosphere that guarantees rest. The love with which they do things is very noteworthy, because at the moment most Airbnb accommodations have been depersonalized and there are usually no people in charge of hosting but companies. So it was a real pleasure to be in this beautiful house for a couple of days. The books you find in the bathroom are appreciated, they can be of great help to explore the area. The cleanliness, absolutely everything was neat. And making available the details and utensils you may need. We made this stopover in Châteaubourg while traveling on vacation between Madrid and Amsterdam, enjoying small towns and secondary roads. This town is very nice and well-kept, with a permanent exhibition of outdoor sculptures (and at the moment also a temporary one).

Spacious and pleasant apartment, the little touches were very much appreciated. The owners are warm and easy to communicate with. The village is very cute. I would highly recommend it. 👍🏻
