Vacation rentals with a pool in Chassezac

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

What a beautiful home and location. The house is in a cluster of stone homes in this spectacular hill town. Cobblestone paths, beautiful gardens and ancient architecture and history. Pierre was helpful in carting our suitcases through what looks like a Harry Potter village up to our very modern, comfortable house. A unique Provence experience.

Magical place, set in the middle of nature! Interior of the house impeccable but the best is the exterior. With the summer kitchen, the pool, the view, the petanque court. Amazing, I would recommend!

We had a lovely time in this accommodation where the small terrace is very nice as is the proximity to the pool. It keeps its privacy despite a very discreet proximity to the owner. the neighborhood is very quiet and you can walk along a path nearby. In the surrounding area there are plenty of places to visit. Very well equipped accommodation. Access to the bedroom can be more dangerous for people who are less alert. We recommend++

Welcoming host, peaceful environment. We enjoyed the hot tub. Stores relatively close to Vans. We recommend it to people looking for peace and authenticity.

We stayed at Michelle’s apartment for 2 weeks. It was the best vacation rental we have ever stayed at (among probably 20 + places we have rented over the last 40 years). Everything about the experience with Michelle was top notch. She’s so friendly, thoughtful, caring and professional. We needed to contact her a few times during the stay, and she handled every question perfectly and with grace. The apartment’s amenities ticked off all the boxes. We chose it for the proximity to downtown, and were happy to be able to walk easily to all the stores, restaurants, pharmacy, Place aux Herbes, etc. That means a lot, since my husband cannot walk long distances. In addition, we arrived in town at the start of a very nasty cold/flu illness we’d picked up on a cruise a few days before. The apartment was perfectly suited to help us rest and recover. Fabulous location! Very new and modern apt just inside city walls with parking! Beautifully decorated with a lovely terrace and hot tub. Delightful owners live on premise and are responsive and helpful. Market is close by as are restaurants. Three bedrooms makes it nice for 4-6 people. We did not want to leave! Highly recommend! Best airbnb of our vacation.

A beautiful, quiet and lush place. The cottage is well-equipped, the courtyard is large enough, the pool is very popular. It is possible to eat outside at the foot of a beautiful chestnut tree and the river flows in a beautiful site within a few minutes' walk. Greta is very nice and attentive. I highly recommend it. 🙏

A perfect stay at Céline and Julien's! Their warm and friendly welcome immediately put us at ease. The place is ideal to disconnect, with a beautiful setting. My wife and I stayed in Guillaume’s place for a month in April/May. Great time of year to visit CdP — a lot less crowded, and we were able to get an appointment for any wine tasting we wanted. Easy to get restaurant reservations too. Our favorite restaurants were Le Verger des Papes and Le Comptoir de la Mére Germaine. Guillaume’s place is perfectly situated near the castle. Parking is readily available nearby. The house is clean and spacious. Well-equipped kitchen. Finding it was a bit of challenge when we first arrived but once we did, the check-in process was easy. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely week at this beautiful home The village of Saint-Reméze is very pretty and welcoming... The location is great for visiting different tourist sites. Everything was perfect.

Great stay as a family (two adults and three big teenagers). The house is in one of the most beautiful alleys of the center of Uzes, if not the most beautiful, while being very quiet including on market day (Saturday morning) close by and very popular. Very nice to stroll through this beautiful village without having to take the car, have meals on the terrace (really very nice) of the house and if you prefer a restaurant, you are close to good tables, good bakeries/pastries, cafe terraces, very appreciated. The house is very well-equipped and decorated. Certainly there are stairs to go from one bedroom to another and to the living room and this is part of the charm of the house. Very good communication with Annie-France who was very responsive for details when necessary.

we had a great stay! the house is super comfortable, large, very well equipped, a decoration made with taste, very thoughtful amenities. a games room with everything that can be possible to have fun, and have a good time for young and old... our hosts were extremely kind and available, Gisou and Rolland are lovely and welcomed us with good bottles, Christmas decor, chocolates ...GREAT!!! That's so nice. the house is quiet, it's amazing as it's peaceful, and it's beautiful, we were able to admire the sunsets, a view of the Pont du Gard, wonderful!!! we struggled to leave so much that we loved this place. many activities around, beautiful villages to visit, horseback riding, walks, restaurants, ect... it's the perfect holiday spot: beautiful house and with everything, beautiful place, adorable hosts... what more could we ask for?

We had a wonderful time in Avignon at Elisabeth and Robin’s wonderful house. The location is excellent for exploring the city. The house is beautiful with a lovely swimming pool to take a dip in at the end of the day and a courtyard for relaxing. Elisabeth is very friendly and was very flexible with check in and out which we really appreciated.

A real little paradise much better than the idea we had when we saw the listing. The house is very comfortable and very well equipped with quality bedding, an A/C and a great summer kitchen. The pool is great not overlooked and with a wide view of the landscape. And it's paradise for hiking leaving from the house on foot there are plenty of paths. What happiness!
