Karla’s place was even more beautiful than the pictures can show! So peaceful, private and we felt completely safe. The property has some dogs and cats that were all well behaved and friendly. Please don’t miss the opportunity to say yes to the magic that Bacalar has to offer, EVERYONE in this wonderful town was so kind. We will go back again!

Tout était incroyable concernant le logement et l’hôte rien à dire. foncez ! Juste concernant l’accueil nous avons été insatisfaits, ils nous ont proposé de faire du bateau sur le lac, nous avons accepté, le rendez vous été à 12h30 nous avons attendu jusqu’à 12h45 toujours rien, nous nous sommes rendu à l’accueil, on patiente pour finalement nous dire qu’il n’y aura pas de bateau, aucun motif, sortie annulé et journée gâchée. Sur le logement cependant, rien à dire.

I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible property right on the lagoon in Bacalar with 7 of my friends, and it exceeded all our expectations! The house was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained with plenty of room for all of us to relax. The hosts were absolutely wonderful, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We arrived to find our grocery request stocked and the hosts were very communicate during the entire process of booking, organizing and checking in. Pablo and Celeste came to the property most days (at our request) and were incredibly helpful, providing delicious meals and assisting with any needs. Having Pablo and Celeste there made our stay even more enjoyable! The location was unbeatable, right on the lagoon, with a stunning pool to enjoy day and night. It truly felt like a paradise, and I couldn’t recommend this place more for anyone looking for a serene getaway. Thank you for an unforgettable stay! I can't wait to go back!

Janice and Larry were wonderful hosts. Always willing to answer our questions but also very respectful of our privacy. Mermaid Manor was clean with a spacious outdoor space, good kitchen and a firm, comfortable mattress (always a nice bonus for me!) You'll have no regrets booking this gem.

The house is in a very great location. You have your own private lagoon area. Shops and restaurants are 10-15 minutes away. The fact that kayaks are available is a plus. Ms. Claudia is a great host, met us at the property and showed us the ins and outs. I would definitely recommend this house for your next stay at Bacalar.

El departamento es muy cómodo, muy bien equipado, con una hermosa pileta y patio para descansar de los paseos. Si bien no está en el centro de Bacalar es muy fácil llegar a él, está muy cerca de la laguna y de los clubes de playa. Los anfitriones estuvieron muy atentos a nosotros, hubo un pequeño inconveniente a la llegada pero fue rápidamente solucionado. cada consulta era respondida casi a los pocos minutos. Nos recomendaron un paseo en barco en la laguna y un beach club que fueron excelentes. La ciudad es pequeña y muy segura Muy recomendable!

Segunda vez que nos quedamos en el lugar y es genial, tranquilidad, el acceso a la laguna es de lo mejor, convivimos mucho al pie de Laguna, todo increíble en la casa, los anfitriones super atentos, todas las dudas las resolvió, nos cambió unos camastros que estaban ya dañados por el sol de manera rapidísima, nos dieron recomendaciones para comer, Muchas gracias por todo!! Volveremos pronto!!

Aunque solo pasamos un día ahí, me parece un lugar perfecto para disfrutar, tiene una entrada maravillosa a la laguna, y un lugar perfecto para descansar. Tuvimos una confusión con la villa que nos tocó pero los anfitriones siempre estuvieron al pendiente y recibimos un descuento en la estancia por el inconveniente. Lo recomiendo mucho.
