Born and raised in Faial, i have a wonderful family and I love to travel and meet new people! I spent quite a lot of time renovating this house completly! This was designed to be a real home and I think this makes a difference! The view to Pico island and to the sea blow us way! Exactly in the center of Horta, the house is confortable and the kitchen well equipped: with fridge, microwave, washing machine, oven, dishwasher and hob. 10 minutos walk away from Peter Café Sport and Porto Pim beach.

Praia do Almoxarife - Casa da Parteira "a moagem"

Acerca de 4 km para Norte, a partir da cidade da Horta, fica a Praia do Almoxarife. No espaço " a moagem" há vida em cada recanto, no jardim existe uma cisterna d' água e uma eira. Apresenta uma arquitetura de traça tradicional, que remonta ao início do século passado. N' a moagem pratica-se uma filosofia com base no tradicional e sustentável. É constituído por: apartamento, jardim, atelier de artesanato, quinta com animais, hortícolas, frutícolas e sementes de variedades tradicionais.

Preta na pedra da sua construção, branca na sua essência. Antiga propriedade da Sra Angelina, Branca de alcunha. Lar de uma família, onde cresceram homens e mulheres honestos e trabalhadores. Das suas pedras emanam energia de gentes trabalhadora e de espírito de sacrifício. Por necessidade, aquando a erupção do vulcão dos Capelinhos, foram à procura de uma nova vida para os EUA. Que a sua estadia seja plena, tranquila e harmoniosa, pois era é a essência da Casa da Branca.

It is also about 3 minutes from the historic city center, where you can find local shops, restaurants and the Municipal Market.

Casa Vista Fantástica

This tradicional stone house rightly bears the name "Casa Vista Fantástica". Look forward to a fantastic, unobstructed view of the wide Atlantic Ocean and the neighboring island of Pico with Portugal's highest mountain "Montanha do Pico", 2,351m. The rooms go up to the roof and convey a great feeling of space. The jewel of the house is the large conservatory, wich is glazed on 3 sides inluding the roof, and which might be better be called a summer garden.

Only 15 minutes walk from Horta city center, close enough to visit the marina or Peters Cafe Sport by foot but far away enough to have complete privacy and stunning ocean front views. An almost 100 year old sea front house turned in to a comfortable and picturesque cottage by the sea.
