Monthly Rentals in Cawton

What an absolute gem of a place this is! A perfect retreat for us to enjoy with our dog, who loved rhe safety of the enclosed garden! Nicola was an amazing host too!

We made a late booking for a weekend away and stayed 2 nights. The property is in a very good location just opposite the pub in a lovely small village. Good walks are available from the door and we enjoyed the pub in Byland as well as the one across the road which offers a nice menu of food as well as a good atmosphere. The cottage is very tasteful, spacious and well equipped. The bed was comfy so we slept well. The lounge is large with nice furniture and the kitchen is very pleasant with a pine dining table etc. Jackie looked after us very well and provided milk, cake and biscuits for us which we appreciated. Overall, an excellent stay.

We stayed here for two nights to see in the New Year. We spent one night at the local pubs within walking distance, the daytimes walking the dog on beautiful, scenic trails and the second evening in Helmsley which is ten minutes in the car. The house itself is cosy but spacious and we enjoyed games nights and not to mention, two amazing nights sleeps. This place has personality, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thanks Chris!

Cosy cottage, beds including sofa bed very comfortable, good shower, kitchen stocked with basic provisions which was great as rural location. Would definitely stay again :)
