Hilltop Hideaway is a beautiful place of respite for a full weekend filled with family activities. From the super clean hot tub and inviting fire pit to the cozy fireplace and comfy beds, unwinding and relaxing has never been easier. Host was very welcoming and responsive with the one question we had, and had communicated everything else we needed in the guide before arriving. As a parent of two kids I really appreciated that the arcade games did not charge for play. I even got in some quality Mrs. Pac-Man time! Would definitely stay again in this house but also looking forward to trying some of the other homes offered by Red River Gorge Getaways. Highly recommend!

Our daughter had wonderful experiences in her 2 stays, one with just her dog & one with her husband and dog. She had raved about this place and about Margo, so we booked at our first opportunity, & will return at the next. The house is well-supplied with every need, and the choices of seating are all comfortable. My husband has a back issue; at home, he sleeps mostly in a Lazy-boy chair. At Hill Top, he was able to sleep longer in bed, & napped in one of the comfy chairs. From the house, we took 3 different routes to sightsee, and each route had beautiful forests & farms along the way. Natural Bridge State Park, Stanton which has a lovely little family-owned restaurant, Beattyville where the 3 forks of the Kentucky River merge, Irvine and Ravenna have long historical ties to railroads, and of course, Red River Gorge are all places to enjoy. Even if one wants to spend a few days hanging out, this is a very special, peaceful place to spend time with yourself and with family!

Nestled in a beautifully serene setting, this spacious and impeccably clean house provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the fabulous hot tub, which was nothing short of a blissful retreat after a day of hiking adventures in the breathtaking surroundings. There’s something incredibly relaxing about soaking in a hot tub under the stars, and this one did not disappoint. The expansive living space was perfect for unwinding and enjoying some downtime. An unexpected bonus was the selection of video games, which added an extra layer of fun to our evenings. Our stay at this cabin was unforgettable. The cabin was spotless, organized, accommodating, and extremely cozy. It’s exactly what we were looking for in our search for a remote weekend away in the country side. The cabin had comfy beds, plenty of towels, cooking utensils, easy check-in and out instructions, and felt very safe. Plus, it’s a perfect distance from the area’s best hiking trails and outdoor landmarks for visitors from out of town. We recommend this listing for anyone interested in an ideal cabin experience. This cabin was absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as described. My dogs had a blast. It was super dog friendly. It was perfectly clean and looked just like the photos. The hosts were so incredibly kind and helpful. They responded immediately when we had any questions and helped make sure our stay was comfortable! I highly reccomend this cabin!

There are three things I am looking for when I choose a place to stay on vacation and this place checked every box! 1. LOCATION! This place is in a perfect location. It is close to a highway, but I never heard any traffic noise. What I absolutely loved about the location is that we were not more than 20-30 minutes from any hikes wanted to do or restaurants we wanted to visit, but it still feels quiet and set apart. Also loved the coffee/ice cream shop 1 minute down the road. Visited it every day! 2. Easy parking - Several years back I rented a place that was nearly impossible to get to so this was important to me. There are no steep hills or narrow roads in or out of the apartment. Parking is right by the front door. Super easy in and super easy out. Perfect. 3. As described - I have also been burned in the past by finding a place much different than pictured. Not here. This was exactly as expected if not better. I would 100% rent again. Hoping to return someday with my sister!

We enjoyed our stay here as we were visiting MSU. Lisa was extremely accommodating and responsive to any questions or needs. Definitely will look to stay here again when we visit. The barn cats are so friendly but respectful of not trying to enter cabin. Enjoyed feeding the horses.

The hostel was exactly as I expected except the amenities. which i beleive to have been just a misunderstanding between the two of us. I had more kids decide to come with me last minute and Sonny was very understanding of that. His personal gym with rock climbing wall was a plus. Sonny is definitely a wonderful person to meet and has a great story to tell..

Leah’s property was fantastic! Great price and lovely! Comfy everything! Nice cute place close to many outdoor activities. I personally loved the animals n the neighborhood!

Everything was great. If you have an issue with your key fob, I beleive it is just the power lines. Try standing 2-5 feet from your vehicle to lock and unlock. Not a deal breaker and if you park in the garage you should be fine.
