Apartment vacation rentals in Cava d'Aliga

We really enjoyed the time. The apartment is as described and the highlight is this large roof terrace with fantastic views. But otherwise everything is very lovingly and comfortably furnished and everything we needed was there. There are many great options for dining and shopping in Noto. We didn't find Lido die Noto itself so appealing, but that didn't bother us with everything else that is offered.

The apartment is huge and in a great central location. We walked everywhere. It's surrounded by fab bars and restaurants. The view from the small balconies is beautiful and we loved seeing the sea through the sitting room windows when we came in the front door. As someone else mentioned, there has obviously been a water leak at some point which could do with sorting and a couple of other areas could do with some tlc. Overall, we loved the apartment and would definitely stay here again.

My wife and I traveled to Ortigia with our daughter for her 25th birthday. This home checked all the boxes when we booked it. Location on the water, nice modern home, walking distance to everything we wanted to see. But, when we got there, it was so much more amazing than we could have imagined. The home is beautiful - on the water with a stunning rooftop deck and amazing sunsets. Its situated right in the heart of Ortigia next to Fountain Arethusa. Walk out the front door onto the cobble streets to restaurants, coffee bars, shops. Turn right and walk a few minutes to Castello Maniace. Turn left and walk a few minutes to the Piazza Duomo. Yolande was an amazing host. Communication was great. Answered all my questions and helped find us a driver for the week which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Our driver, Beppe, was born in Ortigia and taught us more about Sicily during our car rides than any guide we could have round. Grazie Yolande!

We, a small family of three, had the most amazing time in Modica (and the surroundings), and Jane's apartment was an extraordinary find. It was perfect as a base to explore the area. I love how big the apartment is, it feels very spacious with a big hallway connecting the rooms. I highly appreciate the way the old and new is mixed together - the old floor tiles are having a new life, the walk in shower is cozy and big. The kitchen has everything one might need, and more! We felt like home and were able to cook every day for us and our small son. Highly recommended for anyone looking to explore de beauty of the Sicilian baroque architecture.

Rossella is a very friendly, uncomplicated and flexible hostess. We felt very comfortable at their place. The apartment is small but has everything you need for two people. The sloping ceilings give the apartment a great charm. The large, sunny terrace is breathtaking and super nice. Despite being on the second row from the street, the sea is almost within easy reach due to the height of the terrace (3rd floor). Within walking distance are shops and the beautiful town center of Marina di Ragusa with many restaurants, bars and gelaterias. The apartment on the third floor is only accessible via stairs (the last one a bit narrow and steep). You should be good on foot - then that's not a problem. Wonderful location right on the beach. There are many beautiful places just around the corner that include good restaurants and markets but you need a car to get there. We loved staying here and I must say that Rosemarie is the best host ever. You have all you need there and if not, Rosemarie can provide for you. Thank you for everything. You are surely on our list if we are coming back to Sicily.

The place looked even better than the photos. It was spacious and spotless. Laura and Silvio were quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. Very walkable area. Silvio met us at check in and gave very clear instructions to find nearby parking (covered lot with hourly rate; €15/24° max). Would stay there again. Thanks Laura and Silvio!

The apartment was right in the center of Syracuse, within walking distance to all attractions and with a great view of the ocean. Everything was clean and the apartment was well-equipped. Check-in was easy and well-organized, and Simonetta was very responsive and flexible. I really enjoyed my stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Francisco’s apartment – it's a perfect place for a family holiday or a longer stay. The location is excellent: just 50 meters from a beautiful, long beach that's great for both kids and adults. Don’t forget your snorkel – you can spot small crabs and even octopuses without swimming far! The apartment is fully equipped and comfortable, with three separate bedrooms, a kitchen, and two bathrooms. We especially appreciated the beach accessories like the umbrella and sun lounger – a nice touch that made our days at the beach even more enjoyable. The town has everything you need, including restaurants and shops. Sicily itself is full of amazing places to explore, and we’re sure you’ll want to come back again.

We chose Salvatore’s very comfortable unit for the convenience of easy access to the roads leading to the nearby cities. A perfect place for all our needs

We had an outstanding experience here. Was excellent. Giuseppe was so welcoming and oriented us to the area and gave us recommendations. He really took pride in his and had a great personal touch. The space is very large and airy, I would say here without hesitation in the future.

The place was amazing! Clean, modern, location was perfect; very close to the main street. The place is ideal for big groups- extremely spacious. The outdoors space / private veranda was ideal

Federica’s apartment is even better than the description! After Naples and Palermo, this was just perfect for some time relaxing. The pool is lovely and overlooks the sea, you can swim at anytime. You can also go down some steep, narrow steps to the beach and swim in the sea with little fishes! The house is spotless, has a very comfortable bed and best of all, mosquito screens meant we didn’t need to use the air-con and could fall asleep listening to the sea! There is a lovely balcony set up with chairs and a table where you can enjoy the sea view and sunrise if you’re up early enough! All in all, perfect, a lovely bottle of wine was left for us too. I really didn’t want to leave!

Very nice setting, quiet, Roberto and Erik his son are very responsive and very kind. I would recommend this place for discovering Syracuse and its surroundings.

For us it was the perfect location. Right beside the daily food market. There were fantastic stalls selling fish, seafood cheeses and general produce. The apartment is only a short walk to the temple of Apollo and within easy reach of all the great local restaurants. The parking in Ortigia can be an issue but with a large public car park just across from the apartment it was not a problem. Overall a great stay, I can thoroughly recommend.

chiara was very proactive with her communication, flexible with arrival and departure times, extremely responsive when we had questions, and went above and beyond with some minor problem-solving. the kitchen is very well-appointed with tons of snacks (including homemade tiramisu!) and cooking essentials, and the balcony has a breathtaking view of pantalica. note that you may have to share common areas with other guests if they book the other bedrooms in the unit. i would definitely recommend staying here when visiting sortino!
