Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Catskill

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

The house was clean, spacious, and beautiful! Extra blankets and privacy shades downstairs would be the only change we would make. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room and everything was clean and comfortable. We would recommend this property!

The Tea House is a beautiful, private and quiet location. The house is tastefully decorated, and host has thoughtfully stocked it with everything you could need (like firewood and kindling blocks for the Solo fire pit). They even had a bottle of wine from Montepuliciano, which stood out to us as we've actually been there! Courtenay was very responsive whenever we messaged her. We needed a quiet romantic weekend away in the forest, and the Tea House was perfect. We can't wait to get back!

I've stayed at quite a few Airbnbs including in the Poconos and I've learned to deal with some level of compromise; maybe something won't work, or propane tanks are empty, or whatever. But David and his family's "A Cozy Chalet" was an absolutely *zero-compromise* stay!! Everything was exactly as advertised and worked flawlessly. The rooms were phenomenally clean. They decorated the living room so tastefully with holiday themes that we just never wanted to leave! Full propane tanks for the outdoor heater, plenty of wood for the fireplace, and well-stocked bathroom amenities. The huge and bright Smart TV let us enjoy hours of Fortnite and movies. The board game collection was great. The kitchen was fully stocked with every pot, pan, dish, or utensil you could think of. I genuinely could not ask for more. David, as a host, was a pleasure to work with! His communication was always FAST. He handled our questions with grace and professionalism. I wholeheartedly recommend this AirBNB!

Nirah and Elizabeth were fantastic hosts, consistently proactive in their communication. Despite a foot of snow the night before, they went above and beyond to ensure we felt safe and comfortable upon arrival. Once settled, their place offered a serene and peaceful environment. Highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely come back again!

This is our second stay since March, and it’s just as great as we remembered. The place is pristine clean, and the location is perfect for easy access to the ski resort. We’ll definitely be back for our next ski trip!

Lovely quiet, pet-friendly place above the garage but note that there is a steep staircase to get up to the second floor. Very friendly hosts - greeted me on arrival and had left the door unlocked so entry was easy and the key was available for my use. Comfy bed, cozy and warm rooms with remote-controlled mini-splits in both the living room and bedroom. Bathroom with tub and separate shower - the water pressure was not as strong in the shower as I would have liked, but it was nice to have the skylight in there. My GPS found it easily but a larger sign with the house number would be helpful, especially at night. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a great weekend at Michael’s house in Copake Falls! The place was excellent - I’d highly recommend to anyone looking to visit the area.

Cozy barn loft with a great view and setting. Nicole was very responsive and helpful. The hot tub felt great after a day of hiking. Would definitely come back.

We recently stayed for a weekend and the place was super cute and spacious, with everything one could need. The courtyard near the private entrance was so inviting. We enjoyed walking into town for dinner and exploring the nearby park. We wish we could have stayed longer!

We needed a peaceful getaway and that’s exactly what we got. Great quiet location but with nearby stores/bars/restaurants. Cabin was as described and clean. Allows pets so I didn’t have to leave my best friend home. Fire pit was relaxing to sit near at night. Glenn was responsive and answered my questions ahead of time. Would definitely return!

Want a gem of a place! This cabin is the cutest, coziest little place, so much so, that my husband and and I didn't drive anywhere once arriving. We packed all our food and a crockpot and started meals while we walked out back into the forest to explore. There are 3 unbelievably beautiful water falls about 3 minutes down a path in the back of of property. There are other close neighbors, but apart from driving past them as we arrived, we would never know. It was extremely quiet. When sitting on the back deck, I felt like we had the forest all to ourselves. The cabin was immaculately clean, and the host thought of absolutely everything we would need to make our stay beyond comfortable. The upstairs bedroom and sitting area was where we spent almost all our time. Great books, records and games. I spent hours just lazily looking through all the cool books. Amazing stay. Would love to come back!

The place is very nice and cozy. The tiny house was very clean. It’s close to many natural parks for hiking, which I really enjoyed. We went to Minnewaska State Park, so the location is highly recommended. It’s only 20 minutes away from the tiny house. I loved that they had a guitar and a record player—it added a romantic vibe. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need to cook. I also appreciated the desk. We were able to work from home while staying there. What I didn’t find so great was that the gas fireplace is outside the house, so I couldn’t enjoy it indoors since it was very cold. Maybe I missed the instructions. Inside the house, there is heating, but I tried adjusting it and still felt cold, especially on the first floor. Another thing I didn’t notice in the description was that the ceiling has four skylights that let in light. If you’re someone who sleeps in late, this might be an inconvenience. They do provide eye masks, but I’m not used to sleeping with them.

Becca’s place was amazing. Exactly what is described, great area close to town’s main street, but also remote enough to feel like you have the entire woods to yourself. Can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for their own getaway. Plenty to do in the area (hiking, breweries, shops, restaurants) and amazing amenities at the property if you just want to stay in. Hope to be staying here again in the future!

The cabin is beautiful. Very bright and clean. Great views of the fall foliage from everywhere! Everything worked well as we made use of the kitchen several times. Everything we needed was there. We also took Victoria's recommendations of a couple of places places to go for dinner and cocktails. Both were spot on. Went for a few hikes, beautiful piece of our planet in this area. I made use of the firepit a couple of nights, very convenient.

what a lovely place to relax and hang with the dogs. Beautiful location and house. we didn't turn on the TV once and had fireside conversations and spa hangs. would come back!

Our family really enjoyed our stay. During the days some of us were out in the woods exploring while others stayed in to read a book by the fireplace. In the evenings we took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen for our home cooked meals. The amount of stars you can see in the night sky is amazing! The open layout is conducive for socializing and reminiscing. We brought up some of our favorite board games and enjoyed playing them on the nice and large kitchen table. We can't wait to come back!

I had a wonderful time here, the pictures do not do the cabin justice. Beautiful and comfortable space. I can’t wait to come back again. Absolutely wonderful time!
