Beach house vacation rentals in Catania

Great host, great house! Had everything you need, including some cute little geckos in the garden at night. We rented a car which helped to get to the supermarket and to Salerno which is well worth a visit. Thank you for a great place to stay.

We stayed for four weeks in march. We had a great time, we fell in love with the place and their lovely dog Fiocco who is very sweet, also to children. Therèse and Viviana were very kind and helpful when we had questions. The house is situated in the middle of a large lemon grove and a daily stroll to the sea (it's a pebble beach) is greatly recommended. The nearby village San Stefano di Camastra is great for an ice cream and a coffee. We expected more hikes to be near, as it is located right next to Nebrodi but finding and reaching hotspots (hiking or otherwise) was ultimately harder than expected. We encountered this across Sicily though and is not related to the house itself. Our children loved to roam around the premises and find their own little adventures. All in all, we had a great relaxed stay and felt in tune with rural Sicily.

The house is very nicely located, just above the sea. You can enjoy the sea view from the covered terrace. It is quiet. You can hear the sound of the sea and the friendly rustling of birds and pretty salamanders. The nature all around is beautiful, you can relax well in the well-kept garden, there are herbs and a lemon tree. Very close by, you can walk on a small path above the sea on the steep coast through the fragrant nature. In the garden we were able to use a table tennis table, much to the delight of our son. A highlight of our stay was the friendly welcome from Raffaele, in Italian, with hands and feet, with real warmth. In case of problems, he was immediately helpful and yet considerate of friendly discretion. There was plenty of room for four people and everything we needed was available. We were allowed to use everything that was available, which was really very nice! The stay was really great!!!

we had a few trouble finding the place but no drama. The property is located in a small settlement and is accordingly quiet. For restaurants and supermarket you need the car. a small free beach is within walking distance and was nice and quite clean and offers to collect many mussels. will be happy to come back

I spent close to 2 weeks recently at Laura’s place and I must say I found the home to be pleasantly immaculate in every way. The pictures she posted of the homes interior were just the way I found it upon my arrival. Everything was operational, modern, up to date, sanitary, convenient with the use of electronic keys, gate openers and WiFi; the place was obviously well kept. Although not absolutely necessary, a car is very helpful to get about for shopping and enjoying the nearby beaches as it is very pleasantly secluded and quiet. I hope everyone doesn’t rush out too often and too long to stay at this place, as I will be looking to come back for future visits if the home is available…thank you very much Laura!

The two apartments are located in a beautiful private villa with ample outdoor space, private gate, space to play for those with children, outdoor showers, barbecue. They are communicating externally, suitable for two families who know each other, so it was perfect for us. Everyone has their own privacy, but you can share a dinner together from the outdoor terraces. The apartments are super equipped, we found everything you need and even more. Super equipped kitchen. There is an outdoor laundry room with a washing machine to share. The sea is just a few steps from the villa. The beach is completely empty in our period, clean sea, but it is a shame to stop at this beach because 10/15 minutes by car you can reach beautiful beaches and cities by car. It is a very quiet area, there is nothing around so a car is required to move around. I don't recommend it for chaos,nightlife,clubs and restaurants within walking distance. Congratulations to Carlo for the care of the villa.

My family and I couldn’t be happier with Rita’s place. Luca was more than welcoming at check in - their communication was top notch and super quick, and to top it off, they were extremely accommodating to our situation when our travel plans changed beyond our control and we ended up arriving a few hours earlier. The view was beautiful - just incredible. They truly thought of every amenity right down to all the pots and pans - utensils, washer dryer iron - you name it. Great goat who really takes pride in treating their guest like family and it shows. If you’re looking for a place that has local shops and tons of restaurants within 2-5 minute walk, beach at your doorstep, a great host, and zero guesswork that you’re making the right choice - this is the place.

I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s place in Pizzo. It was easy to find with a wonderful view of the sea and Stromboli. The apartment is extremely clean and well furnished. We enjoyed having aperitivi outside and appreciated how there were no stairs to contend with with luggage. The apartment is a 5-10 minute walk from Pizzo Marina which has lovely restaurants as well. Maria is a lovely and helpful host.

Great view and perfect place to stay for adventures on the island. It’s cosy and has all the facilities you need. Recommendation!

Fantastic stay for 5 family members. Beautiful villa with exceptional view and lovely balcony. Close to store and great restaurant. Loved the kitchen and dining area. Walked down to town twice. Not that hard, but did take the bus on return that dropped off near villa. Also took boat ride along amalfi coast. The best day!! Everything Sooo nice!

Monica’s place is beautiful! It was in the perfect location, it was such a cute spot and had so much charm. The agreement Monica has with the Hotel nearby is a huge bonus. We used their pool, the elevator down to the beach and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant - it was a wonderful experience!!

Extremely clean and beautiful apartment. Very responsive host. The view was spectacular and the patio was very large and spacious. It’s very good for younger people that like to do a lot of walking and hiking. It’s very difficult to get in town especially when you have only a couple of days to explore the city. I had my mom and aunt with me and I would have preferred a hotel by the center of town. We spent a lot of money for taxi . Other than that the place and the host are wonderful and match the description on the listing .

Beautiful villa, wonderfull host and gorgeous location. Couldn't fault the villa, and our stay. Margarita helped us navigate to the villa when we arrived and work out the WiFi to keep the kids happy. Can't fault our stay. Thank you.

Salvatore is at the top, he welcomed us very warmly, he recommended nearby restaurants as well as beaches and viewpoints, the accommodation is impeccable small quiet residence with swimming pool and sunbathing. Frankly impeccable, I'm really satisfied. Thanks again and see you soon!

The villa was absolutely beautiful and very well equipped. We particularly enjoyed the choice of outdoor areas and the pool. Sabrina was an extremely lovely and responsive host who made sure our stay was smooth. Arriving in Catania at 8am, we were able to do an early check-in which was much appreciated. Our children also appreciated the cats who came to say hi, it reminded us of ours :) We would definitely recommend Sabrina’s place.

Perfect home base for Siracusa, Ortigia, Ragusa, and Noto. Andrea was incredibly responsive. The home is very well appointed with lots of extras that you didn’t think of… heading to the beach on a hot day? No problem, there are beach umbrellas to bring with you on your outing. Our family had a great experience at Andrea’s property. Thank you!

Excellent location once you find it. We had a little trouble but no worries, the views are stunning. The home is adequately equipped, clean and modern. The train runs close by and takes a while to get used to. The beach is great and there are plenty of chairs, umbrellas and toys. The location is central to nice towns, shopping and restaurants. If you can get to restaurant Vecchio Frantoio in Diamante it’s well worth it. Valerio and Laura are excellent hosts. You won’t be disappointed.

Very nice and very clean place in a great location right on the sea. Fantastic! Quirico responded very quickly and nicely. I can really only recommend it, happy to come back!

I stayed in this beautiful home for the Christmas holidays with my family. Large and very welcoming rooms, the house is furnished with style and elegance, nothing was missing in the kitchen. The outdoor spaces are very well maintained. Mrs. Lorella is a fantastic person who welcomed us warmly and pampered us in the true sense of the word by providing us with Christmas decorations, a welcome basket, bringing us delicious hot pastries the morning after our arrival and on Christmas morning typical sweets made by her, the purcedduzzi. I sincerely thank Mrs. Lorella and her husband for everything!

Typical apartment on the ground floor, with the possibility of feeling a place leaning in front of the door a chair on its paved street, cozy and with everything you need.

Piergiorgio was a great host and the place was really special. Response time to questions was very fast. The private beach was amazing with the most beautiful water! Would return and recommend!

This is a jewel! A beautiful apartment a few minutes walk from the center of Positano. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped and the view is to die for. It was great to come “home” after a busy day in the crowds to the peace of the apartment and its surroundings. Private beach access is an added bonus. One note - if you plan on driving, you better get a small car as parking space is at a premium. Our little Fiat was perfect and handled the roads and parking well. Giovanni and Francesca were excellent hosts. Very responsive and available. It was a very welcoming experience in one of the most beautiful places on earth.
