Such a beautiful and private space with quality furnishings. Everything you may have forgotten is available in the property, all towels and linens fresh and clear instructions throughout. Overall a beautiful place to stay, we will be back and are very grateful to Scott for allowing us to create special memories.

The private hot tub was so nice and the views amazing. The accommodation was modern and clean. The big bath tub was great for relaxing in. Yummy Yorkshire does a nice breakfast not too far away, and there’s a Lidl right near if you want to do your own cooking.

Very cosy, stylish and relaxing place to stay - lovely views, great pub 5 mins walk away and lots to do in the local area. Highly recommended!

what a wonderful stay. I came here with some family members to celebrate my birthday. I loved the surroundings, the animals, the hot tub and basically everything about our visit. They were kind enough to take us to see and feed their alpacas and it was truly one of the best experiences. I loved it so much and will always treasure that day now! The hosts were very helpful, and friendly and made our stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who loves animals and the outdoors. We had such a lovely weekend and it was right next door to carsington water and other beautiful walking areas. The local pubs are also worth a visit- the food was great!

Our stay was perfect. Very beautiful home. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings and the house was just beautiful, every room was immaculate and we felt very lucky to have such a grand home to ourselves. We will 100% be returning and telling our friends and family about this amazing place.

A wonderful set up at Ford Whetley. Idea for walking in the Peak District and great pubs with food within easy reach (recommend pubs at Onecote and the Black Lion at Butterton.) Louise was a great help in advance of our arrival and communicated really effectively. A beautiful area of the country. Would recommend this cottage to anyone - you won't be disappointed. This was a fantastic place to stay, the owners are very friendly as are all the animals that we got to meet while visiting! Would highly recommend and would definitely be happy to stay again on future visits to the area.

Lovely cottage in a good location. Spent Easter weekend here with my two sons and the property was very comfortable and had everything we needed as did the town of Wirksworth. Great base for exploring the area.

Photos do not do the size of the house justice, there is a lot of space for a family. A nice patio area but not dog secure (this was not a surprise though, Jane did explain this beforehand). On arrival there was milk, bread, butter and fruit juice not to mention the fresh fruit, lovely and welcome. The location is great, although on a main (busy) road, it didn’t bother us but there is road noise especially when warm and windows are open. The house has everything you need, very well equipped and comfortable.

We had a lovely few days at Rowan Tree Cottage. The cottage was immaculately clean and tidy and was equipped with everything you need for a confortable break. Our daughters especially loved the easter eggs in the Welcome Pack which was lovely touch for our Easter Break. Jane is a great host and very communicative from booking to check in and onwards. She also bakes a great victoria sponge :) We wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Great spot, perfect for exploring Buxton and the surrounding area. Lovely house and although the bedrooms are a tad small we only needed them to sleep in and that was more than made up for in the excellent kitchen, garden and living areas. Perfect for a girlie getaway! Grace was a great host, very responsive to messages. Some basic kitchen bits and bobs (including mini milk bottle!) were a nice touch. Would stay again

After a rocky start to the weekend, we found this gem of a flat. Hosts were amazing and Heather was so welcoming. The flat is so peaceful and has everything you could need. Maybe some curtains in the living area would be useful. The small little touches such as milk, teas and coffees were a lovely surprise. We will definitely be booking this when we are visiting Manchester next.

Thank you Jane, Welcomed upon arrival. We’d had a long journey & Jane came over briefly and explained everything to us concisely & wished us a lovely stay! Superb location that included beautiful strolls along the fields! Great for walking & getting lost in the beautiful scenery. Jane’s place was spotless! Bedding & towels were lovely. Could not find one downside anywhere. The waterfall Three Shires is a five minute drive (cafe along the roadside). We parked up & took a lovely hour stroll to find it! Our first trip to a waterfall & not the last. Very attractive place & great location. The village of Leek was around a 10 minute drive & has everything in it that you need! Thank you Jane.

Sara was a great host, very communicative, lots of information available, a house website was useful. The cal just before was very welcoming and opportunity to ask any questions, just very nice and welcoming

This venue was amazing. Clean, spacious, and with everything described. The host was friendly, accommodating, and replied to any questions within minutes. The countryside views, and the walks in this area are just idyllic. The family and I would 100% recommend.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

Our stay at this beautiful house was most enjoyable. It's very rural. You can't really walk to places if you have young children. Not alot of footpaths. But if you want a nice quiet time to recharge your batteries this is the place. So relaxing. Well worth a visit. Will go back. Thank You. Chris and Hugh Maxwell and Family. 🥰

Very beautiful surroundings and cleverly executed indoor swimming pool, sauna and massage rooms! Some minor issues with the heating of the Manners and sounds of the swimmers below however it’s a great little escape! Highly recommend it.

Really lovely stay at Priesthill during a walking trip away. Great accommodation with beautiful surroundings and a responsive host. Slight side with the shower overflowing but we managed to contain it. Accommodation well equipped and very comfortable. The hot tub was amazing!
