We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The one-bedroom space was incredibly spacious and well laid out, with a super comfy bed that made it hard to leave in the morning! The private garden was huge and perfect for relaxing, especially with the hot tub—it felt like our own little retreat. The area is peaceful and quiet, which made the whole stay even more relaxing. Easy to find in a lovely location . Sam's communication was excellent . Sam's place was exactly as described but better . It was modern , exceptionally clean and with a well equipped kitchen . There was plenty of hot water and the bathroom was spotless . A fan was provided as it was particularly warm when we stayed . The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of plug sockets in the bedroom . Tv was better than expected , very big 55" with all the terrestrial channels you need and including Netflix , Prime , Youtube etc . Wifi was good . Overall the location and setting were excellent , all topped off with a Hot tub which worked perfectly . Highly recommended and we will stay again

Charming retreat with hot tub and lake terrace

KimRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

The Old Coach House, Wheatsheaf Mews

RebeccaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. The cottage was easy to find with its own parking. Instructions to get into the property were clear and simple to follow. The cottage inside was beautifully decorated and was welcoming and cosy after a long drive! Jennie was quick to respond to a message about the fire and had the problem sorted in less than 30 minutes! The cottage had everything we needed for a busy family of 5. The hot tub was a great bonus enjoyed by all the family! The cottage, being located right next to the five pits trail was the perfect location for us and was also perfectly situated for our visits to chatsworth house, the heights of Abraham and Bolsover castle. We had a great time and would highly recommend! hoping to return very soon!

Peak District village cottage with stunning views

TraceyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Attractive cottage and felt like a real home from home, with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely to wake up to the views across the valley and hear the bird song all around. a beautiful little enclosed garden at the back with 2 sitting out areas was just lovely to enjoy the sunshine and scenery. The very popular village of Youlegrave was a great location with shops for basic provisions, cafes and pubs. Great local walks and ideal for dog walks further afield. We enjoyed the local town of Bakewell and visits to Thornbridge House, Thornbridge Brewery, Haddon Hall, walked some of the Malpas trail and of course you can't miss Chatsworth. Fantastic stay for 4 adults and our dog

Chatsworth Cottage, Little Longstone

JohnRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Sam and Annie's cottage was a lovely location to spend 8 days as a family of three (including with a 9 month old baby). It included a large and very comfortable bed, a cot in a separate room for our baby, and everything needed in the kitchen to be able to make a meal. They were very helpful at making sure we had everything we needed for the baby (e.g. high-chair, baby bath, etc) and were very responsive to any questions that came up during our stay. The cottage is in a lovely spot, with walks right on its doorstep, and Monsal Head a short 5 minute walk away. The local pub is also excellent (ensure to make a reservation). We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Traditional Cottage on a Working Hill Farm

NatalieRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Spent a lovely weekend with friends and our children here. The farm house was clean and comfortable, the surroundings are very picturesque. We had a lovely walk into chapel en le frith town, where we had food at The royal bar & Grill. On the way back we stopped off at a brook with a rope swing for the afternoon where both the children and adults had a ball! The fire pit in the evenings was a lovely addition, toasting marshmallows! Even our teenager who is hard to please gave the place a 10/10! Thanks again Jill for a lovely stay!

The Old Toffee Shop

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 week ago
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was second to none. We were warmly welcomed into a spotless, beautifully kept space — it was immaculately clean from top to bottom, with every room feeling fresh, tidy, and inviting. What really stood out were the thoughtful touches throughout. Everything we could possibly need was already there — from fully stocked kitchen items to fresh towels and toiletries. There were even little extras for our dog, which we truly appreciated — it’s not often you find a place that goes out of its way to make pets feel as welcome as their owners! The owner checked in with us during our stay to make sure everything was going well, which was a lovely gesture and made us feel genuinely looked after. Overall, it was a perfect experience. Impeccably clean, fully equipped, pet-friendly, and hosted with true care — we wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend it to others.

Lovely Lavender Cottage Tideswell, Buxton

KatieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Ruth's place. The cottage was easy to find and access. Parking was easy. Once inside, it felt cozy right away and we made ourselves at home - both my daughter and I settled into our rooms quickly then we went for an explore. Tideswell is lovely - nice shops and friendly people. The house's kitchen was well equipped, the bathroom was clean and of a good size, the rooms were clean, and the WiFi worked well. We had everything we needed for the time we were there and wish we could have stayed longer.

This was a great place to stay for 3 nights as a family with 2 children, aged 8 and 11. The location was a great base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. The house is located in a lovely village . The cottage itself was really cosy, with all the essentials a family needs. The kids loved the outdoor areas and spent lots of time in the evenings on their bikes in the cottage's outdoor area. Chris was very helpful and welcoming. We definitely recommend this place and would like to visit again.

We loved our stay in Zeta's cottage! It was very cosy, with a comfortable bed and a well equipped kitchen. Having (private) access to the pool and sauna was especially great, and the rural setting was very pretty. The location also means easy access to Biddulph, Leek and the Peaks. Thanks Zeta for being a really friendly and accomodating host - we'd definitely come again!

The Milking Parlour, 1 bedroom luxury cottage

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The Milking Parlour was a lovely cottage in a peaceful location with fantastic views out over the dales. There were some nice walks direct from the door and loads of other great walks with a 5-10 minute drive such as the Monsal Trail. Julia was always available if needed to ask a question but otherwise left us to it so it was a lovely private space. The facilities were excellent - we loved having a game of table tennis and pool in the evening and enjoyed watching the sunset from “sunset corner” in the farm. We would definitely stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.
