My husband and i were on our honeymoon and felt that John's house was the perfect stay for some quiet and privacy nestled in Castle Hill. We absolutely adored our drives to and fro Castle Hill and Christchurch as the views were just fantastic. The house was super cozy. Waking up and having coffee by the balcony watching the mountains and listening to birds chirping was the perfect way to start our mornings. At night, we spent hours sitting by the fireplace. Truly a blissful experience and I highly recommend it to couples or even families who want some serenity!

The place is very clean and looks just like the pictures. It’s really pretty and peaceful. It’s a great place to relax and take a break. Very quiet and perfect for resting.

We really loved this place! Nothing to complain about. Just make sure you read your instructions carefully before coming :) Joseph was quick to respond, kind and made sure all we needed was all there! I will definitely come back.
