Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

We had a wonderful stay. It was exactly what we needed - beautiful scenery, fresh air, comfortable house - and bonus if you love cats - WE LOVE CATS. She also made the best cake I've ever had it was amazing. Thank you so much!

Angela, Giuseppe and their family were amazing hosts and we really felt the Sicilian family love whilst we stayed with them. We booked the accomodation last minute after being let down and despite having busy work and family lives they put everything we asked for in place in less than 24 hours. Nothing was too much to ask, and they were amazing with our little girl. The accommodation was really spacious and well looked after. The only downside was the busy road, but bring earplugs to sleep and don't let this stop you from booking - highly recommend staying here.

This is a luxury gem hidden away in a tranquil location. The only minus off season was that most restaurants <30 minutes away were closed (October) otherwise this place is magic, clean, newly refurbished, has all necessary amenities, incredibly private and has excellent hosts and goat farmer neighbors ;)

We had a great vacation in Borgo Papardo. We enjoyed the view of Mount Etna which gave us two magnificent eruptions, the smell of lemon trees in bloom and the children spent a lot of time at the pool despite its coolness. Placido is very available for any info.

We had a lovely stay and a local host contact to assist us with any questions, concerns, and reservations. Recommend a very small car if you plan to park on premises though there is street parking available.

My wife, 13 year old daughter and I stayed at this house for 10 days in April 2025. The house was very clean and it was appreciated that there are amenities such as soap, shampoo, toilet paper, water, etc. in the house on our arrival. The beds are noted as two singles and two doubles but we felt that the bed sizes were larger. The third floor appears to have a king bed and the 2nd floor has a queen bed. Also, it is clear that the owner spent money on nice mattresses as the beds were very comfortable and hotel quality. We were very pleased with the hot water in the house. We never ran out of hot water in the shower and the water was very hot. Also, we used the washing machine and this worked well for us. The instructions and information provided by the owner were detailed and thorough. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations. We did not use the air conditioner or the heater but there are five in the house. The house was clean and we would stay here again. Thank you!

nice house to spend days with family members or friends

It was definitely the best stay we had during our trip to Sicily. This flat is run by the sweetest hosts we’ve ever met. We felt so safe and relaxed here thanks to their hospitality, and we had an amazing time in Catania, surrounded by the vibrant atmosphere of nearby pubs, cafes, and restaurants. We were incredibly lucky to find this place and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Catania who is looking for a cozy, lovely, yet lively place to stay!🩷

We had a pleasant time at Emuanuela and Mariagiovanna's, the house is ideally located for exploring the eastern part of the island. We enjoyed the provision of a portable crib and other baby amenities. Very good communication when at home or different places to discover on the island.

Nice place, welcoming host, close to Etna

The apartment was very modern and clean. It is centered nearby the castle - note that the streets are pretty small in the center of the village, so it's better when you have a small car. Also, the road from Catania to Montalbano are very curvy and damaged at the end.

Fabio was a charming and welcoming host. He is clearly passionate about tourism and making his guests welcome and at ease. He and his family were very kind. As a sporty family we used the gym a lot ( which we had to ourselves). We would have loved an outdoor pool but knew there wasn’t one and he is now aiming to install an outdoor pool. The apartment is well air conditioned and has everything needed ( we were a family of 5) and with plenty of space. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds Lovely robes left for us and a sun hat each Really nice touches which show that Fabio cares about making a good impression - which he did. You do need a car as the apartment is quite some way out but if you don’t mind that ( we didn’t) then the quiet was good. View of etna is lovely The balcony was particularly lovely to relax on and eat al fresco Well done Fabio

We loved staying here. Alessandra and her mother were very helpful with getting set up, and even though it is next to a busy street, the high ivy covered walls make it feel like an oasis. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the grounds are incredible. The pool is great. it felt bigger than the pictures, and the deep end was good for teaching the kids how to dive. they even have a trampoline! Highly recommend for a peaceful escape.

This is a wonderful and unique place to stay for anyone who appreciates architecture. A real gem of Giarre. The house has a large courtyard with a separate swimming pool and relaxation area. We were very, very satisfied with the place and I would heartily recommend it to others. The host Francesco is extremely helpful and shared a lot of great advice. Thank you!!! Elio was a great host! Super friendly and helpful. The place was comfortable and clean and our kids loved exploring the area. I didn’t love driving on Sicily and you did have to drive to get anywhere, but that wasn’t a big deal. If the listing looks good to you, you will enjoy your stay here.

The apartment has a fantastic secluded location (with the landlords) in the mountains. The views from the garden are beautiful. In 2-3 km you are on Monte Ogliastro or Monte Veneretta, from where you can overlook the whole region. Fantastic! The terrace is large and completely fenced. Then comes the parking lot and then the beautiful fenced garden. The cats were very nice and there were no problems with the dog. Unfortunately, the cats were all very, very thin, at least 3 had severe diarrhea. The turtles in the garden had very bleak small enclosures and the dog was often locked away on the balcony. Unfortunately, pets usually have a bad life in Sicily. That made the vacation sad.

Thank you so much for an incredible stay. It is truly one of the most beautiful / spectacular stays we have had. Get to see the ocean, coastline, and Mt Etna from almost everywhere in the space. Very comfortable bed and functional kitchen. Hot tub is great as well. As stated it is quite a walk down/up the stairs to get to town but worth it. If you have some mobility issues taxis and uber are available. We paid anywhere from 15-35 E depending on where we were going. Don’t hesitate to book.
