Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Casentino

The property is remote & far from everything on foot. You need a vehicle. However, the view and the interior of the walls are worth the trip! It's beautiful. The room was superb, the only downside is that you had to go out at night in a corridor for the toilet. There are two beautiful large living rooms, fireplace, library, kitchen with shared fridge. A beautifully decorated inner courtyard. I didn't like my arrival, only after 3:00 p.m. because the reception is closed and there is no one. We wanted to enjoy the view and the pool (not possible). The next day at 10 a.m. we had to leave, they told us 3 times, we understood the first time! It's early, to have time to take a shower and have lunch. We didn't like it at all! The pool, although eco-friendly, is more like a pond where swimming with frogs is possible. Be careful after 6:30 p.m. if you have a problem, no one answers! (Towels for rent at 5 euro.)

I had a wonderful stay at Anelida’s place. She was so welcoming and kind as was her husband, even with the language barrier. The place was in a nice location, super clean and she provided everything we could have needed. It felt private even though being in a shared house and the breakfast was such a nice treat. Highly recommend. Thank you so much :)

Silvia's San Croce Terrace was a pleasure. It is easily accessed by bus from Santa Maria Novella station and a short walk to the major attractions and restaurants. We found the apartment to be very clean and well accessorized. Silvia even provided breakfast items such as yogurt, milk, juice and bread for toast. And then to be able to sit on the terrace at the beginning or end of the day was very nice. We highly recommend Silvia's San Croce Terrace.

We had a wonderful weekend. The location of La Combriccola is optimal for visiting the Romagna hinterland as well as the Riviera. The host was very kind and gave us a lot of useful tips. The room is tidy and clean with a small terrace in the countryside behind. We really enjoyed the rich and great breakfast. We definitely recommend it!

The place is cozy but quite spacious. More like your own place than a standard hotel room. The T1 tram is clearly on schedule and will quickly get you to the city center, other historical sites or train stations (3 pieces). The presence of a cafe-Caldana for breakfast, also adds points. Recommended.

Beautiful flat, very spacious, nicely decorated, quiet at night, and such a great location. Ilaria and Caterina were really helpful and communicative. Took a taxi from the train station but it’s also easily walkable in about 15 min. Would definitely come back.

Had a lovely stay with here, very warm and accomodating hosts. Very tidy room and bathroom, very comfortable bed for our travels. Also very close to the tram that takes you directly to the Firenze main train station. Would stay here again 🙏🏼

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning villa in Tuscany, and I can't recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality by our wonderful host, who made sure every aspect of our stay was perfect. The villa itself is an absolute gem, nestled in a picturesque setting with breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. The garden was beautifully maintained, providing a serene environment to relax and enjoy nature. The pool was a fantastic addition, perfect for cooling off during the warm afternoons and offering a great spot to soak up the sun. One of the highlights of our stay was the delicious dinner prepared each evening. Fresh, local ingredients were used to create a variety of dishes, offering authentic Tuscan flavors. The villa’s location is ideal for those looking to explore Tuscany. We were able to easily visit nearby towns and vineyards, but honestly, it was hard to leave the comfort of this beautiful villa!

Beautiful property, the host and his family were so welcoming and made you feel at home. Very gracious. We also loved his dog Luna!

This place was magical. From the moment we arrived we were mesmerized by the beauty of the countryside and the beauty of the B&B. This was a last minute booking for us but we will be back when we can stay longer. Dinner was spectacular!

Our stay was absolutely lovely—I only wish we could’ve stayed longer! The area was so peaceful and charming, a perfect escape. Antonella went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She was kind enough to drive us into the village for lunch one afternoon since we didn’t have a car, which we really appreciated. The hospitality from her and the other ladies made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind and experience authentic Tuscan warmth!

A Dream Wedding at Il Grande Prato - Beyond Perfection Our wedding at Il Grande Prato was magical. From the moment we arrived with our guests, we felt the warmth and hospitality. Every detail, from the stunning landscape to the charming accommodations, was perfect. Giulia, Taisia, and the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding flawless. They handled everything! From transportation to and from the train station, to wedding décor and preparing the most delicious meals! No request was too big or too small. Their hospitality extended beyond the wedding, ensuring all our guests were comfortable and happy throughout the stay. Il Grande Prato is more than just a venue – it’s a place where dreams come true, thanks to the incredible people there. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting. It was an amazing experience for us. We stayed with a group of 3 at the place. The home was stylish, nicely decorated and extremely clean and neat. What is very special about our stay is, awesome pasticerries made by a real Italian Chef Mariagrazia. I will strongly recommend her breakfasts and delicious pasticerries. It was a unique experience for us. Thanks a lot, for this warm, kind and delicious experience.

This B&B is ideal for those who want to get to know Tuscany and want to live it to the fullest: Daniela and Giampaolo, the hosts, are exquisite and kind people who welcomed us in a beautiful accommodation in this historic house and prepared a rich breakfast with typical local dishes, both sweet and savory composed of cheeses and charcuterie typical of the surrounding tradition and cakes prepared in the house and with very fresh jams. In addition to hosting us, they recommended many places to visit nearby rich in history and local beauties, both close as Loro Ciuffenna and distant as Arezzo and beyond, with the various museums, architectures and walks that made us experience a piece of Tuscany at its best. For us this point was very important, they were tips that are difficult to find elsewhere and the passion with which Daniela talked about it convinced us even more to do these cultural adventures. Highly recommended to those who want a chill vacation in a serene environment.

Marco and Karen's property was beautiful, and just what we needed for our trip for a wedding in the area. They were proactive and attentive communicators before and during our stay, giving us clear instructions to locate the property and check in while they were away. Would recommend.

Traveling alone, I found myself less confident and reclusive in my first 2 weeks in Italy. Upon reading reviews, I had a feeling Suzi would snap me out of it. And she DID!! She was so welcoming, made me a delicious dinner the first night, and made me a part of her family for the week. I was even invited to her milestone birthday party with all her lovely friends, and then another joint birthday family dinner at home. She gave me a bunch of awesome recommendations, always asked if I needed anything, and calmed me down when I called her in despair, being lost in a field somewhere, lol! The room was huge and cozy, the shower sooo nice! (I was in the room off the kitchen) Suzi is very intelligent and we had some interesting conversations. Her two dogs Tyra and Gigi stole my heart immediately. I will be back, maybe as a work away! I will never forget your kindness and the remarkable woman you are <3

We stayed at the end of our two-week tour of Italy with Amanda in Tuscany. The peace and space you find here is fantastic. The cottage was super clean and nice and had everything we needed. The pool, the view and the surroundings were completely perfect to us. Thanks Amanda!

Great experience. The room is really nice, equipped with everything you need and above all... very clean. Rosy was an exceptional host and provided precise directions on house rules and location. The property is just outside the historic center of Arezzo and in a strategic location for visiting Florence and Siena. Super recommended.

What a fantastic Airbnb! I think it was our best experience ever. Eleanora and Lorenzo were so friendly and welcoming. They were also very generous with supplies of tea, coffee, biscuits, jam, etc., which is always nice. The apartment was so beautiful, brand new, harmoniously furnished, fully equipped, everything you needed and extras such as Alexa and Netflix. The surroundings were also beautiful with a lovely space to sit outside and take in the view and the peace and quiet. We loved it so much and wished we could have stayed longer. Do not hesitate to book - it is such a treat and you will have no regrets.

Amazing! Just a GREAT experience. Enrico and Daniella make you feel like a family friend being welcomed into their home. A peaceful oasis, I could not have been happier. Enrico also offers to cook meals, should you choose and the food was excellent. Enrico treated me to a view at the observatory and it was a very special experience. Thank you both for a wonderful 4 nights!!! I will definitely be back if I am in the area.
