Our family of six had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stefano and Alex’s place! The location was great being so close to many shops and restaurants, but what really set this place apart was the hospitality from the host and owner. From the moment we arrived until we departed, Stefano was very helpful and responsive. The first day we arrived, he helped with dinner restaurants at an AMAZING place nearby. Then, when my in-laws had a late flight on the day of checkout, Stefano did everything he could to make their additional hours comfortable. Like I said, from beginning to end, he was great! The unit itself was very comfortable for the six of us, including my wife and I, our 7 year old daughter, and three parents in their 70’s. The spiral stairs down proved to be a little tricky, but that was easy to overcome. All of the other amenities and little touches were very thoughtful, and we greatly appreciated the welcome treats and drinks. Highly recommend this lovely place!

We had a fantastic time at this apartment, it is as grand as it looks in the photos!! Very comfortable beds, lovely lounge area. Great location to dry out after getting soaked in the rain! Excellent location, two minutes from lots of very good cafes and restaurants and a daily market in the square. Easy walk to the main centre and 5 minutes from the Pitti Palace! Elly communicated throughout and made sure we checked in safely as our flight was delayed. We would definitely stay again!

This little hamlet was ideal for a group of several families wanting a Tuscan holiday. Christina was a very responsive host, always available for help and suggestions. One down side was the distance from many of the Tuscan attractions such as Florence and Sienna. The hamlet is reasonably remote so is ideal for those who want a secluded holiday rather than those who want to see the sights of Tuscany.

Hidden gem - I wish we would’ve planned a longer stay!!! Such a great Italian cabin in the woods, offering peace and calm and the healing power of nature. Every morning we awoke on our own - no traffic, a few birds, and the shutters kept the light out! We loved the old antique feeling of an updated WiFi home away from home.

There were five of us (4 adults and one toddler) in Pietrasanta for two weeks. We felt very comfortable at the place. The house is beautiful and has a great garden with terrace. It was clean and there was everything you could ever need. Only the way to the beach and into town was a little longer than we thought. But it was still doable with the bikes. Frederico is a very nice host. He was always available, kind and helpful. Checking in and out was very straightforward. All in all, we had a great time here and can definitely recommend the cottage. Carlo and Elena made sure that we felt at home right away. The welcome was the best you could ask for. The place is beautiful and clean and very comfy. They gave us a lot of tips for the area. And surprised us multiple times with delicious treats. We will be back for sure.

We had a lovely stay in Sommocolonia! Nice small apartment with balcony and everything we needed in the house. Despite the central location in the middle of the village it was very quiet in the evening. Lots to do in the surroundings, such as hiking, canyoning, caves, swimming, and lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Loved Barga a lovely small town 15 minutes drive down the hill.

We had a very relaxing few days staying with Lucy and her family, and their dog Amber. They were really friendly and welcoming, and always ready to answer any queries we had. The pool area was lovely, and extremely peaceful. The accommodation was spacious, very clean and comfortable. The village is small with a butchers and bakers, a couple of restaurants and a bar. We did a lovely circular walk from the property through the woods to the nearby hill top village, Castel Vecchio. There’s nothing in the village but it’s very pretty and the views are great. You need a car to get to the supermarket and Lucca is a very easy 20 minute drive away. We had a super time and thank you Lucy for your generous hospitality.
