Was a lovely little stay at Chantelle’s place. Some very nice touches, fridge magnet, milk in the fridge and fresh towels, that made us feel welcome and right at home. Would recommend highly.

Luca is an amazing host and showed us round when we arrived. She is quick to respond to any messages and gave recommendations for the area. The place itself is beautifully designed and has anything you could possibly need for your stay. It's lovely and cosy in a quiet peaceful area. Would definitely stay again.

We were attending a show nearby at Newark for the weekend, and used this as our Base. The accommodation was clean and homely, and had everything we needed. It was easy to find, and had a gust information pack with suggestions for local restaurants etc. We now wish we had booked for longer than just the weekend, but that just means we will need to visit again.

Exactly like the images, cozy and comfortable. Catherine did an amazing job for decorating for my partners 21st. Couldn’t have been any better!!

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. So peaceful and private, spotless and welcoming. Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Kates place is a little gem in the heart of Southwell. It’s central enough to have easy access to the high street and the Minster yet tucked away enough to feel quiet. It is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable and Kates little extra touches made us feel very welcome, milk, fresh orange juice and homemade flap jack. Kate was a very welcoming and accommodating host and easy to communicate with.

Charlotte gives the warmest welcome and the Little Barn was extremely cosy too. The place is perfect for our needs with a great view over the fields, quiet and easy acces to the places we want to visit. We love cooking in the well equipped kitchen and love the fact that Charlotte leaves us fresh eggs from her hens. Thank you for a lovely stay yet again Charlotte.

Where do I even start. My partner booked this place back on 22nd June 2024 as a surprise. I thought we were just going for a meal in the pub opposite. However we ended up at this adorable hut where he had set up the best surprise of my life & he proposed! It really was just pure magic! ✨❤️💍 We were the very first proposal here and it was lovely being so beautiful & private. We loved the place so much I booked it later that year as surprise for my partner's birthday. Another weekend there was absolutely perfect! The hut was so relaxing, we had the log burner on all the time,had quality time,nice food & drinks,brought boardgames,walks & actually were able to sit & read with the fire on it was heavenly. Having a weekend to escape & fully switch off was absolutely incredible. We absolutely love this place! It's now our very special place where we got engaged. THANK YOU for our wonderful stay at the Shepherds hut. We definitely recommend here& for us will be back each year now!! ❤️🛖
