Waterfront vacation rentals in Capital Region of Denmark

Jens is a great host and his place is exactly what we expected after seeing the photos. The flat is very accessible to the city via public transportation and accessible to the airport. We rented bikes not far from the flat and used these to get around, as well. There are several restaurants in the neighborhood that were nice to visit. The flat is away from the city activity but accessible thus making the flat very much a nice place to retreat to after a day of fun.

Everything was just perfect for us. The apartment is beautiful and very large. 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bedrooms with simple beds. Huge living room /kitchen area. Super modern and with all the necessary amenities is a new area of Copenhagen. Bus line 350m away. Metro station 600m (which is what we used). The fact that it was not in the centre did not bother us but note that it takes a bit of time to get back to the apartment if you need during the day...so you do not go back there for no reason during the day. But it is in a super quiet and safe area and the view over the water is gorgeous as you wake up in the morming.

Jan-Cayo is a great host, quick and caring to respond! The home he set up has the cozy atmosphere of the Danish hygge, the environment is quiet and also with the famous water view of Copenhagen, and it is super recommended to stay in his house to feel Copenhagen. Thank you Jan-Cayo!

The apt was perfectly located for food, touring, shops, and the view. Great size and clean. The beds were comfortable. Very easy to get to from the airport as well. Would 100% stay again!

It was a very nice stay. The apartment is comfortable, bright, and clean, well-equipped with all the necessary items for living. What we liked the most was the amazing view from the main room! The grill was a nice option for us. Check-in, check-out, and rules were simple and clear. Communication with the hosts was easy and available if needed. We were provided with a very useful Google Maps guide with interesting places marked. There were also tourist maps in the apartment. The location is excellent - you can take a walk to the city center or catch a harbor bus. The metro station and a large city mall are also not far from the apartment. Groceries and a few restaurants are very close too. Additionally, getting to and from the airport by taxi takes up to 30 minutes, which is very convenient. Don't hesitate, we highly recommend this place!

Apartment just as described & as seen in pictures. Beautifully located on the canal- especially picturesque during sunset. Easily walkable location for lots of sightseeing to be done. If you don’t mind climbing five flights of stairs to the apartment don’t hesitate to book! Oliver is a very accommodating host.

Everything was wonderful: the location was ideal as a base, and the spacious accommodation was a perfect retreat after an eventful day in Copenhagen and surroundings. Tess’ and Leif's home is very charming and makes it possible to immerse yourself in Danish culture and architecture. We will be happy to come back.

Great apartment! Very good location right in the famous Nyhavn area. Good facilities - although be mindful that there is no door between the shower and the bedroom (there is a separate toilet though!). Very comfortable beds - had 3 great nights of sleep here! Could be a little loud in the summer later in the evenings as it is in a very touristy area, but in March we didn’t find it too much of an issue. Beautiful old apartment with original beams and a lot of character. Maybe not suitable for anyone who is super tall as the beams are low and door frames small because of ceiling space. Would absolutely stay again and recommend to anyone in a heartbeat!

Niels has a wonderful house in rural area! The house is right on the water and the view is so idyllic! The house is super nicely decorated and everything was really available! The contact with Niels was also great, he responded very quickly to questions. We really felt very comfortable right away and the sunrise in the morning was beautiful! We'll be happy to come back sometime ☺️

We had a great time at Asgeir’s house, it was ideal for our family gathering. The house is really spacious and provided everything we needed - even a baby bath and some games for the children! Asgeir was a really responsive and friendly host, even providing a jar of his homemade honey 🙂 the house matched the description and we had no issues at all. Thanks for a great weekend!

We had a fantastic stay at this house! The location is extraordinary and very private, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. You can imagine that many family holidays have taken place here, it has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. If there's anything to improve, it would be to keep it a bit cleaner, but that didn't detract from our overall experience. James is a very friendly host, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The charm of the house stands on its own, making it a truly special, unique, and remarkable spot. Highly recommended!

Great recommendation for this lovely house. The house is large and newly modernized, and the location is in the very first row to the water. Also far inside the house the water can be seen - absolutely unique. Anja is the perfect host, very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our family had another great stay at Christel's vacation house. It was perfect, plenty of space, very modern amenities, easy to feel at home. Great view and even a few sunny days (rare in Denmark in Feb.). Hope to be back again!

The house was just the right size for us and offered attractive and peaceful spaces to visit, eat, and rest. It has a lovely view of the small harbor and sea. We were only on the island two days so it was a quick visit. The hosts were supportive and we found our way around very well. We felt at home and welcomed and we hope to be back some day!

Views to the water and beautiful cliffs! Perfect summerhouse for vacation with family. We felt good at home. The house is beautifully decorated, with nice details. Great skylights for the hot days. The kids enjoyed playing on the rocks right below. Friendly hosts. Great recommendation from here😀👍

This is a happy house, in a lovely location. Everything is clean, it is well organized for large groups, the kitchen is well stocked, it is comfortable and relaxed. There are many games and puzzles, attesting to the frequent presence of grandchildren. Even at the height of winter it was warm and cozy, and the nature in this part of bowling home cannot be beat.

We had a great stay at Mikkel's place. The location is great, and the appartement as well. Communication was great. It's good to be aware of the shower situation beforehand, but we were, and it was fine. Thank you so much!

Fadia was a great host and always responded to messages if i had a question. The apartment was spacious and well located in a peaceful area. There was a coffee shop and mini supermarket 3 mins away and the metro was also only about 5-10 minutes! Apartment was very clean and free of clutter. A lovely space to spend a few days whilst visiting the Christmas Market at Tivoli.

Modern, clean and spacious apartment in a beautiful neighborhood. Meters away from water and city transport. There is a grocery store in the same building and a coffee shop next door.

The unit owner’s son met us and showed us around. The location was excellent. Their recommendation of Scarpetta was appreciated. Preben communicated well and responded promptly.

Stay here if you want to feel like a true local in Copenhagen! The location is 10/10 and the balcony view is the best way to start and end your day. There is an elevator for easy access with suitcases and Carl was able to give us an early check in due to our early arrival. It’s worth noting it does feel like a true Airbnb, like you’re staying in someone’s house with all of their things around (but if you enjoy this - it adds to the charm of feeling like home). There is no aircon which during late August didn’t bother us at all and wasn’t necessary. Overall loved our stay here!

This is the place to stay in Copenhagen, especially during summer. The apartment is beautiful and the terrace with direct water view and access is amazing. We stayed for a month with our 1.5 year old and he loved all the amazing toys. Highly recommend

It belongs to a relatively high end neighborhood, which is great!Easy to get around, indoor stairs, not very suitable with elderly and special small children.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment. Claus was great at communication, and there was everything we needed for a comfortable few days stay. The bed is very comfortable! Close to the centre but also a calm neighbourhood with lots of good places to eat and drink nearby. Recommended!
