Cottage vacation rentals in Cape Elizabeth

A gem of an Airbnb! The hosts truly thought of everything and this was the perfect place to stay with two young kids; in fact, my son loved the bunkbed and toys so much he refused to go to bed every night! From the tonies box and kids toys, to all the beach and baby gear, there wasn’t one thing they lacked. The place was clean and organized and felt so cozy. I highly highly recommend this place, especially for families! The hosts were so friendly and accommodating as well.

We recently spent a week here & had a wonderful time. The house is private & somewhat secluded, and the location is convenient for shopping and/or going to the coast. The house itself was clean and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, bakeware, and pots & pans. Rocking on the front porch, the hot tub, and the fire pit offer great relaxation with a nice view of the lake. We'll most likely stay here again next year.

We had the best time at Stephanie and Melinda's place! The cottage was immaculately clean and just perfect for us. The location was perfect, right off of the main road, so very convenient to everything. The queen bed was SO comfortable and we had everything we needed for a great stay. Thank you!

My friend and I had a wonderful time. We had no problem keeping ourselves busy and really enjoyed the seaside drive from York Beach to the Bush Compound. Having a friend nearby helped tremendously as she was able to fill in some of the history of the area and told us of the storms that partially or totally destroyed some of the many houses on the coast line. It is a beautiful spot to visit and our cottage was a joy to stay in. We would come again. Carol

Milan was very responsive and the place was stunning! Hot tub was a nice little bonus. Great for a weekend away in the woods.

We loved Carla’s place and the thoughtful amenities like beach towels and chairs. The screened in porch was especially nice and made the place big enough to have two people work from home without any issues. There is also a nice outdoor space with picnic tables. Our favorite part was the kayaks at the marina only 4 min away from the house and loved that Carla shared two different places to explore with the kayaks. There were many restaurants nearby and you could walk to the beach in 20ish min if you wanted to. Would definitely stay again!

we wanted a cozy getaway to spend a little time with our son who was home from college and this cottage afforded just that!! Sky was an extremely responsive and kind host and her place was full of character. Loved in particular the Christmas tree in the living room!

Another wonderfully relaxing stay! We really enjoyed the new screened in porch for morning coffee, late afternoon snacks, and evening games. The rainy days were just as lovely as the beautiful ones. We enjoyed the cozy gas stove on the cooler days, and we just couldn't have been more delighted by the welcome note and gift upon our arrival.

We felt right at home and Rick allowed us to bring our dog and two cats, a bonus not easily found. The rental was cozy but big enough for the two of us and 3 fur babies. The shower was nice and hot, the Wi-Fi was excellent and we had a great Roku TV that we easily streamed our services without issue. The furniture was very big and comfortable with throws available for added warmth. The bedroom was perfect with plenty of space for our clothes, a nice bed and new fresh bedding. The absolutely only challenge was the narrow, curvy driveway! Luckily, we had a good back up camera and the street wasn’t very busy. This minor issue is not enough to deter us from returning for another stay!

Property was as described and is accurately represented on the site. We were returning to Maine for a family friend's wedding and only stayed the weekend. We wish we had more time to explore the trails around the cove or do a little bird watching. Beyond quiet, absolutely still ... The surroundings provided us instant and absolute recharge. stargazing is a must with this clear night sky. Barbara and Alan are attentive hosts and not in the way. Responsive and cordial. it was wonderful meeting them and staying in the Hermit Thrush House (HTH) as it's known. it was nice learning about the properties background and how it got its name. Plenty of towels and hot water, easily accessible from main roads but tucked away in a quiet, wooded location, everything these suburban New Yorker's needed for a short immersion in natural surroundings and a comfortable home base for our weekend's social calander. Next time we bring the dog! Thanks Barbara!

The ideal autumn getaway. A cozy cabin with a warm fire. The soothing sound of rain in the roof. Generous hosts and golden leaves. We loved our stay.

This area is absolutely magical. The house is set up perfectly for a large family. I especially appreciated the front deck and screened porch. I can’t thank the owner enough for sharing their beach house with us. This was our second year staying at Tidewater making memories with our family. Very unique home, beautiful views, quiet, everything we were looking for. We ordered Lobsters from across the street (super nice people) in the morning and they had them ready for pick up at dinner.

Loved staying here! Elizabeth was extremely responsive to any questions, it was in a perfect location and had a great view. Would happily stay here again!

Our stay was amazing!!!! We were only in ogunquit for one night and it was the perfect space to stay. Perfect distance to all of the action. The bed was SO comfy and the space had everything we needed & was so cute and cozy!

Elizabeth beach cottage was perfect for our girls weekend. We visited in the off season so it was very quiet and felt safe. The place is small, but that was expected from the photos. If you are visiting for the beach, extra things like beach towels, a cooler tote, and a wagon to carry items are all available. Everything was super clean and felt well decorated. The beach is within easy walking distance. Sweet little home that was perfect for a weekend away!

Perfect place to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Maine! Secluded, quiet, peaceful. Kayaking on the river was utterly therapeutic. Close proximity to many great restaurants and other attractions in Portland. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Blessing in disguise that the covered bridge was closed because virtually no traffic, making the location even quieter. Highly recommend!
