A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

The studio is good for couples or single travellers. The owners live on site .

A small hen house (private) in the garden. 25-minute walk to the city center and shops. Perfectly located on the Carcassonne – Haute Vallée de l'Aude axis, ideal for discovering Cathar châteaux and cellars. NO construction trailers please. If you are looking for a tranquil getaway with a magnificent view over a picturesque medieval village look no further! Guesthouse adjacent to the owners' house with a separate entrance. Private patio and swimming pool! The property is not suitable for children under 10 years as the outside area is unfenced. Please note that we have 2 medium sized dogs which are confined to the garden around the main house.
