We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

The accommodation is great, everything as described and in the photos. It is a bit dated, but we felt very comfortable there. Bruno gave us a very warm welcome and showed us everything we needed to know. When there was a problem with the water pump on the second day, he sorted it out very quickly. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Can we give this villa a 10/5? We had a wonderful stay in Calheta, thanks in part to this location! Dalila’s villa was in immaculate condition , with ample (nice) towels, kitchen needs, and even well stocked with grocery basics on arrival. This was much appreciated after 24 hours of travel. Even more outstanding were the views of Calheta and the ocean. We loved the pool and the workout room as well. Dalila was very responsive and accommodating. Would absolutely stay here next time! Thank you!

We had a great stay at Jorge’s place. Beautiful views and the house had everything we needed. Jorge was fantastic host with loads of recommendations and also communication before, during and after our trip. The house was in great location for amazing local hikes, the beach, as well as the natural pools at Porto Moniz.

From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed by Fernando. The villa is situated in a beautiful and quiet location, offering amazing views and a lovely pool that's perfect for cooling down. You can really feel the warm hospitality of the host right away. During our stay, we had a small issue with the toaster, and Fernando replaced it immediately — a great example of his attentiveness and care. We had a peaceful and relaxing time, and I can wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a serene getaway. Please note that the ascent to the house is quite steep, but this is completely normal given the island's topography — and the views are well worth it! Highly recommended. We had a great time! The accommodation is very clean and very well-equipped. Only small downside the living room (living room kitchen) is a little dark but if the weather permits you should spend all your time outside on the beautiful terrace which offers a splendid view

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. The view from the driveway overlooking the mountains and sea was stunning, and the area is peaceful and relaxing. We didn’t spend much time at the house apart from sleeping, as we were out exploring Madeira most of the day. Still, it was a comfortable and convenient place to return to at night. There’s also a separate closed patio with a grill and space to hang out outside, which would be perfect for anyone looking to spend more time at the property. Getting to the Airbnb involves a steep road, but after the first time, it’s easy. That’s typical for Madeira and part of the experience. We had a private parking spot in the courtyard, which made things even easier. The Airbnb was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the host was responsive and helpful. Overall, a great base for discovering the island.

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Carlos is a very good host. The house is beautiful with all the amenities that make you feel at home and on vacation at the same time. The location is very good to easily reach all activities in the north of the island. A quiet location overlooking the sea with very beautiful sunsets. Looking forward to the next visit to Carlos' place.

This was an exceptional stay. The views, the amount of space, the way Carla hosted and communicated. We’d return in an instant. Highly recommend!!! Worth every penny

We met Hugo, who is super friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help answer questions regarding the home or recommendations for activities and restaurants in Madeira. The home is as described and as shown in the photos - completely clean and beautifully decorated with everything you need for a holiday in a quiet setting. A great stay that I can only recommend others, too.

Villa Panorama is an amazing place to relax and to visit Madeira. The photos reflect well, is very comfortable place, views to the ocean are stunning, and equiped with everything you need. For a family of five, as we are, it was perfect experience. Location, while a little far from Funchal, is well connected and great to visit the multiple amazing locations of the island. There are groceries close by, even in Sunday we could find open places at 6 min from the Villa. Especially great are the hosts. Rui and João Carlos are extremely responsive and friendly, and they make everything easy and well organised. We would definitively come back again and we highly recommend Villa Panorama without doubt.

Very enjoyable week's stay. Paulo speaks excellent English, met us on arrival and was very prompt and helpful when we had any queries. The house is in a convenient central location, with the whole island within 45 mins drive. It's right on a main road, but the traffic noise is not too obtrusive and the glazing is noiseproof. Great view of the valley from the patio. The accommodation was as described, including en suite bathroom. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

WHAT A VIEW! Gorgeous home with fantastic views of Funchal and the sea. Quiet and spacious home. Quick and inexpensive Bolt ride up the hill to relaxing oasis. Antonieta’s home is unique-well appointed, fully stocked kitchen and comfortable surroundings. Antonieta is a wonderful host-she gave us lots of advice and helped us navigate Funchal and Madeira. Anything we asked of her, she quickly and efficiently gave us answers and recommendations. Superb HOST-5 ⭐️

We had an amazing time at this beautiful apartment. Every morning, waking up to the stunning views over Funchal and the ocean was a real treat. The apartment itself is stylishly designed and as someone who appreciates architecture and interior design, this apartement is a great choice.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is perfectly equipped, there is really nothing missing. The views over Calheta are stunning and the pool was a real highlight. Everything was clean, modern and very well maintained. Absolutely recommended – we will be happy to come back!

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk).
