This is a brilliant, spacious, comfortable luxury apartment. It’s beautifully decorated with interesting pictures and objects on the walls, shelves, tables. Every room is generously stocked. The kitchen is a true chef’s kitchen with everything you need to cook – pots, pans, tools, apron, lots of staples. Natasha left an amazing assortment of fresh food and goodies for us. The bed and bath are wonderful. Natasha is a thoughtful, terrific host, great at communicating and offered really helpful local advice. This apartment is filled with light and peace. It’s the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in.

We had a great few days exploring Edinburgh and staying at Castle Nest! John was a great host and the apartment was the cutest little flat. The location was perfect for us - easy to get to all the best sights and walkable to a ton of great coffee shops, pubs, and shops. Would absolutely recommend this little gem in the middle of Edinburgh!

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodations were exactly as described, and this was by far the best experience we’ve had with Airbnb. David was an excellent communicator from start to finish, making everything smooth and stress-free. His flat is in a great area—convenient, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. He even went the extra mile by leaving us some milk and breakfast items, which was such a thoughtful touch. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and David was a dream to work with. Highly recommended!

This was an amazing stay! I wish we could have stayed there for weeks! My entire family was extremely comfortable and loved all the living spaces. Extremely clean and roomy! Hannah’s place is gorgeous. Very small kitchen, but well laid out and manageable, adequately stocked for our needs Hannah’s description and instructions are clear A lovely touch, a welcome basket of teas, coffee, milk and shortbread. Also shower gel in the bathroom

Excellent place to stay and feel at home. This is a perfect spot to stay for several days and close to everything. Plenty of space with large rooms and everything you need. Anne was always responsive and there when you needed her which wasn’t much, because everything was already taken care of. Highly recommend!! Easily 5 stars!!

We had the best stay here for my sister’s bridal do! The house was spotless and Mhairi was super responsive. Really wanted a relaxed, homely space with beautiful surroundings and this home was perfect. No hesitation in recommending to family and friends in the future.

A beautiful modern, comfortable, squeaky clean home with all that you need and more. The view is amazing. The location encouraged us to explore parts that we may have missed if we had stuck to the big cities. Highly recommend Kim’s place

This is a beautiful house in a beautiful village. Spacious, clean, comfortable and very welcoming. A real home from home. Quiet and relaxing in a picture postcard village.

The Shiel House was an absolutely stunning and massive property. We visited as a large group of 8 on a golf trip, and this was the perfect Airbnb. It was beyond spacious, with all the amenities a large group would need for a week long stay. The location was great for us with popular golfing destinations like St Andrews and Gleneagles within driving distance, as well as a litany of local courses. We also were within driving distance of Edinburgh with plenty of fine dining options. Tim was a very gracious and helpful host who provided clear instructions on locating the property, as well as a fun treasure hunt that takes you around the property and to local spots. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with the property and the host!!

We stayed here as a group of friends and had a fantastic time! The views over the loch are stunning. The house is very comfortable and well equiped. We enjoyed a local 6 mile walk directly from the house, enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the cafe, who catered for all dietary requirements and were lovely. There is also a boat ramp right by the house for access to the loch - we braved morning dips at sunrise which was so peaceful and refreshing. Definitely recommend, it won't disappoint :)

We had 4 nights at Ryan’s place with our two dogs. It was a great base to go hiking at various places with short and well connected travel by car. Ryan’s home was stunning. It was extremely well presented and very comfortable. The main bedroom was incredibly relaxing with a huge bed and vast and spacious room with a lovely en-suite attached. We’ll be back again if ever in the area!!

Honestly, what an incredible place to stay in. I was blown away by how much thought and care had gone into everything, it felt like living in a spa but also at the exact same time I felt right at home. Laura was incredibly helpful and very responsive when it came to communication. The space she has created is like no other Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. I will definitely be returning in the future.

Yeah got to be honest , Patricia was a blast. Very relaxed human being with great communication skills. This Lady is well versed in her local community, offering great advice on nearby and local places of interest. The accommodation was suitable to our needs and Patricia happily welcomed both of us and our 2 Dogs... The accommodation is fully equipped and there's a Costa & Subway literally next door , walking distance 30 feet/2 minutes. House is easy to locate as it's to the right of the local Petrol Station. Morrisons and Co-op walkable and can be reached in under 10 minutes from accommodation. When the tide is out and if you take your dog , your dog is going to be very happy indeed. There is a garden in the rear of the building that your free to use too. All in all a very pleasant experience. Thank you Patricia for the warm and welcome reception , the (still warm) home made bread , the fresh butter and milk. All very welcoming after a long drive...

This is a lovely place to stay with amazing views over the water. It was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We were able to park outside no problem and took a bus in to Dundee for the day- there is a bus stop on the street. Would love to come back on a sunny day and sit outside in the garden and look out to the water. There are a lot of steps to the property and in the back garden so probably would not be ideal for anyone with mobility issues but for us it was great.

Lovely flat at the top of the hill and close to many attractions. Nice to have parking available.

Butlers basement is a great place to stay to explore the best of Edinburgh. Loved the baggage hold before a late flight. Gemma was very easy to communicate with. Thanks for a lovely stay

Jill is a wonderful host. Such a lovely place and we felt very welcomed and cared for. Woodside is a very interesting house to stay in. The views are amazing and the house is spacious and very well equipped. Jill is very thoughtful host who goes the extra mile in providing really nice snacks. Had such a great stay at Selina’s place. Easy to find and check in, amazing location and a fab apartment. Selina was really easy to communicate with. Highly recommend!

The condo was just as described, good location for getting around Stirling. Extremely clean with very comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. Excellent communication with Anna and James who came to let us in to the unit. Only complaint would be that it was a little too warm in the apartment at night. I would definitely recommend this apartment.

The apartment is located beautifully right next to lake long so we enjoyed coffee and coffee and diner looking at the beautiful scenery. The apartment is spacious and provides everything you need. We’ve never checked in into an Airbnb as beautifully equipped and carefully stocked as this apartment. There was free drinks and even food and a very special welcome for us. Communication was always quick and easy, proactive and helpful. Would recommend the apartment anytime - we had the best time!
