Ideal for those seeking comfort, safety & nature, but 9 miles to Burlington and 5 mins to shops & restaurants. We are in a part of Essex that is rural (the village, Essex Junction is more of a city.)

We are a 2 bdrm 1 bath bungalow located in Colchester VT, lakefront on the Mallet's Bay portion of Lake Champlain. There is beach access directly across the street for kayaking, sailing, paddle boarding, and sunset watching. The lake is a bay section so the bottom is muddy, recommend water shoes! We are just a 15 minute drive to Burlington for shopping and dining. There is a small covered porch to sit on and a lake to look out on. We have 2 kayaks and a sup.
