Hi Sarah Thanks for your amazing communication. Property was a bit hard to find coming off highway. Property was spotless and the most comfortable bed! Door code was a bit tricky , sometimes had to enter a few times Definitely need ear plugs but noise was well noted on listing. Thanks

We had a wonderful three-day stay at Landfall Cottage where we were warmly welcomed and spoiled by Mary and Adrian. Their peaceful corner of the world was ideal for us to get away from it all and enjoy rural life again. To get to know their friendly horses, Jack and Daniel and to see a large mob of kangaroos leaping through the paddocks and clearing the fences in style wiped away any city cobwebs that could remain in us. Instead we felt welcomed by a world that brought to mind all of the images of some of our great Australian poets, Henry Lawson and Banjo Paterson. Robyn, my son Paul and I loved every moment of the stay and we will certainly be returning to shrug off the cares of the world and embrace Landfall Cottage again.

The hostExtremely comfortable house in beautiful surroundings. Very well equipped with excellent attention to detail, and lots of surprising nice touches. Comfortable beds and pillows with lovely doonas and bed linen. Plenty of clean, fresh blankets. Firewood chopped and ready to go. All bathroom amenities provided were natural and environmentally friendly. Well equipped kitchen with nothing missing. Even supplied a very nice organic ground coffee for the coffee plunger, and fresh local milk. Beautiful birds and lots of wildlife sightings both at the property and in the region. The Blackwood hotel is nicely renovated and a great place to go for dinner and/or drinks, and is about 500m walk from the property. We took some extra supplies with us, which we bought at the IGA at Trentham, which was very well stocked. Overall, we couldn’t fault the property - it was perfect. The host was very good with communication, responding to enquiries, and providing instructions. Would return!

We were a party of 3 mums and 6 kids aged 4-10. We had a great time and Sylvia is a fantastic host! She very patiently took our extremely loud kids out to visit the animals and help feed the goats and they loved it. The rooms are all very comfortable the sauna was a great quiet place where mums could rotate! The Magnesium pool was well used by all despite coolness of the weather and water temp. Highly recommend we had a great time! Great for a relaxing girls weekend or a couple of families! If you have younger toddlers -there are a few steps around that may be difficult to navigate (especially if they are prone to zoomies) all good for 4yrs plus. Just a fab place ❤️
