Love the ambiance of this place. Such a hidden gem and for the price point it’s definitely worth it.

My wife Necerita and her sister and grankids and a close friend visited Esperanza's cottages for 3 days. Carlos helped organize them all getting to the island and his auntie Esperanza and her family welcomed them all and helped with everything. The accommodation was rustic but that was what was expected and wanted. The family really enjoyed their relaxing stay and trek across the beautiful unspoilt island. I look forward to joining Necerita for another visit when I return back from Canada. Necerita and the family brought all their own foods but bot some local crabs on the island. Carlo was very helpful too by being in contact with Necerita at all times. Necerita tells me that it was a great escape island holiday.

Second time there, we did enjoy our month there, still missing hot water and water pressure was low, music from NY'S market was still shaking the ground i hope they will work on improving to reduce the noise. still a good place to recommend for resting, not so far from san jose night market and stores marylou and ate may were responsive and kind definitely recommended

You can't go wrong when the host has plenty of rave reviews from guests. Tess and Ronald are amazing, very accomodating hosts. As to the place, I feel like I got more than whay I paid for. Highly recommended for anyone staying in San Jose, Occidental Mindoro.
