House vacation rentals in Brookhouse

The caravan we stayed at was lovely. We were welcomed with a box of chocolates which was a nice gesture and the kids were very excited about haha We had forgotten our phone chargers but luckily there was a charger at the caravan. The TV had netflix and there was WiFi available. The hosts local guide was brilliant and we did most things recommended including Williamson park, Lancaster castle, St Patrick's chapel at Heysham Head and Morecambe which we would highly recommend to others staying. We had taken our own t.bags, coffee, sauces etc but these were also left at the caravan so if people forgot things then they were available. Would stay here again :)

Beautiful property in a gorgeous location. Angela Louise had added personal touches and had really thought about what we might need during our stay. Had a wonderful break.

We had an amazing stay! The cottage was just as described and in the perfect location so we hardly had to use the car at all and were able to walk to Windermere, Bowness and Brockhole with our two girls ( 13 and 8). The use of the nearby pool was an added bonus after a day in the mountains. We’ll definitely be back! 😀

This place was beyond our expectations. Immaculately presented, super clean, tidy, jaw dropping views. I can't fault it in any way and I can't rate it highly enough. Will definately look to return in the future. Stunning!

Absolutely gorgeous place. We loved being on the lake and and having access to it. Vanessa gave loads of recommendations and communicated well. Pictures matched the place. Wouldn't hesitate going back.

What can I say, we had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Jackie is an amazing host and could not be more accommodating and helpful. The caravan was so lovely and homely. Extremely clean with everything we could possibly need as a home from home. The beds were comfortable and we all had good nights sleep. Thank you so much for letting us stay.

Our family had a lovely stay at Burrowbank at the end of the summer holiday. The house is fantastic with all the facilities you could ask for. The kids loved the swings and most of all the pool, while the covered (heated) BBQ area meant evening meals outside watching the sunset. Great location and setting, very private and we would definitely come again and recommend to others. Martyn and Christine were very helpful and went the extra mile (even posting my daughter’s disposable camera that she left behind). Can’t think of any negatives and we made some great/happy memories.

Great spot! My friends and I spent the long weekend whilst completing the Yorkshire 3 peaks. It was about 35 minutes drive but well worth being slightly further out than some of the other options we looked at to stay in this accommodation. It was perfect - great open plan kitchen/living space perfect for larger groups, a stunning view and the bonus was hot tub which was fab for post hike relaxing watching the golfers that backed onto the garden! Lovely comfortable stay at the Cowshed. Beautiful setting and handy to have the convenience shop and chippy within walking distance. Halton is a pretty village with some lovely old buildings and the River Lune. The Cowshed is well equipped, spacious and private. Comfortable beds and sofas. Thanks for a good night's stay.

This is such a peaceful and picturesque find. Cosy and comfortable with some beautiful walks nearby. Great outdoors spaces and some lovely places close by to visit.

Great little find and perfect for our needs. Dog friendly was an added bonus. Natalie was a great host and very accommodating when I kept changing dates. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect place to stay in Lancaster! Very clean and modern, loved the bathroom it has an amazing rainfall shower. Quiet road, easy to park and short walk to railway station and Lancaster Castle. Claire is a great host, friendly and quick to reply. Thoughtful as toiletries in bedrooms and tea, coffee and milk for stay. Would 100% recommend.

What a fabulous find. The house was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. There was everything we needed for our stay and with the additional treats we felt very welcome. The property is a short walk away from the city centre and would be perfect if travelling by train as very close to the station. This property was ideal for our shopping and dining treat.

We had a great time here. John’s place was very nicely renovated, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The direct canal access was great, and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

This is an absolutely wonderful little house, in beautiful condition. Clean, comfortable and homely, it even has plentiful toys, games and books which our 4yo was delighted by. It's within an easy walk of Morecambe prom, Morecambe town centre, Happy Mount Park, and a fish and chip shop. We would highly recommend staying here, and we hope to return one day soon. Little Lambs Lodge is a perfect getaway for a couple wanting a peaceful and relaxing retreat. It has everything you could wish for and more. The outside decking is private and comfortable with lots of little lambs to watch. The property is close to a number of amenities and attractions, many within walking distance. Carly and Peter are wonderful hosts and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. Thank you for a superb week, hope to return soon. Our friends have already been asking questions about renting it !!

A really comfortable stay in this cosy, well appointed cottage. Close to Gisburn Forest where we had a good day biking/walking. We had a lovely meal in the nearby Millstones Inn and loved seeing the farm too!

Just home from a lovely few days in this beautiful little cottage. The cottage was as described, squeaky clean and well equipped it is very conveniently located for the town centre and there are several walks to do from the doorstep. We were expecting parking to be an issue but it was not and we managed to get a space on the cobbled parking for residents over the busy bank holiday weekend. The host provided good recommendations and was very responsive to our questions. I would not hesitate to either recommend or return for another visit, thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home
