Vacation rentals with beach access in British Virgin Islands

Rarely, at least in my experience, do you have your expectations far surpassed. This was the case, on various levels mind you, during my stay at the apple bay villa. Its location is most ideal, as you’re situated between some of nicest beaches on the entire island. It’s isolated just enough that you feel a bit insulated from things, which is always a plus. While simple, at least at first glance, it’s the intimacy with the sea and its sounds that elevate everything. The crashing of the waves is calming, and sets the perfect mood for rest after a long day in the sun. I look forward to my eventual return and suggest you all give this place some serious consideration, it is justly deserved.

Philicia is a great host. She set up a driver to pick us up and navigate the extremely pot holed drive to her place stopping at a grocery store on the way that had a great selection of goods. She responded when we had questions or needed something. For staying out of the hubbub but walkable to restaurants and the coastline I’d recommend her place. 100% you need to rent a vehicle unless you want to not explore or see the rest of BI. Taxis are expensive and limiting. There is only AC in the bedroom, ceiling fans in the rest of the property. Thanks Philicia for a great stay

The villa sits on a hill overlooking a beautiful beach. An absolute stunning vista. Beautiful sea and sailboats in the distance. The outdoor area is large with a splashpool, beautiful flowers and greenery. An occasional visiting cat and chicken add to the island charm. Inside, the home is just as it is in the fotos. There is a full kitchen and gorgeous guestrooms. the area is quiet and peaceful. Sam is a terrific host and her staff. Very helpful, easy to contact.

Beautiful location. Lovely spacious and clean studio apartment . Steps down to the property and a staircase up to the studio. Glorious views from the balcony. Lots of extras to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Would recommend.

We were chartering a sailboat with Navigare located at Nanny Cay. Nanny Cay is a short walk to a couple bars and good resturants. There are a couple small shops a block away. We had rented a car and had off street parking. It's located mid island and easy to get to either end and the other side too. Just get a four wheel or all wheel drive car. With the windows open, you can hear the roosters crow. Great way to start the day.

I like to cook and that as VERY easy in the small space. Great utensils, appliances. The location was very easy to get to Sopers Hole for grocery. It is a bit farther from Road Town but what is best depends on who and what you want to see. The space is very comfortable for 1 friend to spend time with - not more but that is as advertised. I had to take a work call while I was there and found the connection for my video and login for the emergency completely workable - I lead the infrastructure team for a US retailer so if I say the connectivity works, it works. And overall - I got to relax and have fun and just enjoy the island! Great stay.

Place was as described and close proximity to restaurants. Lucien was very responsive and easily accessible as I was having a little difficultly finding the location. The drive to the location was overwhelming since Tortola is very hilly but once arriving the view and the place is spectacular.

We had a great time at Henry’s place in Road Town. It was very clean and comfortable with extras like tea and coffee. The view of the harbour was amazing and there was even a nice pool for cooling down. It was about a five minute walk to the nearest grocery and about ten minutes to a great little sushi place. Thanks for a lovely stay Henry and Aisha!!!

We had an incredible experience! The pictures do not do this place justice. It is absolutely the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. Jerome and his recommendations are top notch and Tortola is a wonderful place to visit I highly recommend it. Thank you very much Jerome and Mary we will be back!

What an amazing home! We come to Tortola every year for Festival and this was by far our favorite rental. It’s very close to town, but still secluded and peaceful. Lin and her husband were very helpful when finding the home. This was the perfect space for our family of 4. We enjoyed the pool and amazing sunsets. It’s also very helpful to have a washer and dryer on site. 10 out of 10, highly recommend! I hope the home is available next year when we come back! Thanks Lin and Barney!

Our stay was fantastic. Stephanie's place is even better than the pictures. her place is beautiful and easy to get to. there is AC throughout the airbnb, not just in bedrooms. all beds were very comfortable. what especially stood out was the level of care and concern she and her family had during the tropical storm that passed through. They made sure we had enough water and even cooked for us when power went out! we did not expect that at all. Stephanie's place is definitely our top choice the next time we visit Tortola. she is an amazing host.

First time ever in BVI and could not have picked a better place to stay!! Absolutely epic location. We only left the house twice in the week-once to kite board and once for groceries. Amazing stay!

Had a great stay, it’s a beautiful place. Loved how private and out the way it was. It matched the pictures perfectly! Would stay again.

This is our first stay at Stargazer since Irma. We have stayed here a number of times. The restoration post Irma was very well done and there were a number of improvements which enhanced our stay. The main living area was opened up with expanded windows and doors and included a wet bar area. In our stays pre Irma we hardly used this room but spent most of our time in this room and surrounding decks during this visit. As noted in other reviews the drive up and down to the house requires diligence but it is less than 10 minutes. Basic boating skills are also essential during your stay. The house has all new bedding and outdoor furniture and is very well equipped and a true experience of what the BVI'S were like before they were "discovered".

This property is perfect! Beautiful views, lots of space for groups or families, amazing landscape and the best pool deck. Nicholas’s team was available for every question and need. We had a fantastic week. I hope we get to return someday.

The place was specious and tranquil; just what we were looking for.

This is an incredibly beautiful location. I have been to 64 countries, and this is my favorite view in the world. My wife feels the same way. The unit was spacious and comfortable, and the pool is nice. We never met Jonathan, but he and his right hand person Jube were incredibly responsive. Upon our arrival, Jube met us at a nearby location that we were familiar with, and took us to the unit. He then showed us around the unit. When we had an issue, Jube quickly fixed it.

It was the perfect getaway at Shan's place. The pictures look great, but wait until you see it in person. This was a breath of fresh air. Immediately, I felt at home. It was a great location for walking. If you had any questions or concerns, Shan was very responsive. There is no place else I would prefer to stay when visiting the island than Shan's place.

Another excellent stay; the property is ideally located for Road Town, and Shan and Priya are very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend.

If you want a personal retreat or a come down from the busyness of life this is the place for you. Peace and tranquillity. Imagine going to bed and being lulled by the waves - yes it’s 17 steps to the beach. The condo was well appointed and had most of what you would need on a holiday. Having some of the hotel facilities nearby made a big difference. The island is hilly and there are many many beautiful beaches to visit so we recommend a vehicle.

From check to checkout Gregory has a host Louise that will meet you at the property and do anything to make your stay memorable. She will arrange a driver to pick you up when you arrive. The unit has everything you need, (minus oven) but has a large outdoor grill, with backup propane for any issues. Honestly who really needs an oven in Tortola, throw your fish or pizza on the grill! The plunge pool is awesome when coming home from the beach. We happened to be departing just before a tropical storm, and the team couldn’t have made it any easier! Beaches everywhere, total relaxation.

We loved it here. It is the perfect location halfway between Pier Park and the large Riteway grocery store. The condo overlooks Moorings charter. We used Conche Charter so it was a 5 minute cab ride from our sailboat. The condo is well-appointed with everything we needed. When we return to Tortola, this is the place we will stay. Thanks, Shan!
