“We stayed in Granville Ferry for 3 nights, on the weekend when we were supposed to be married. Since we had to postpone because of Covid-19, we thought a getaway was a nice way to celebrate our would-be day. Jay’s spot was absolutely perfect. The house is the perfect size for a couple, and everything was immaculate. Jay shared all of the cleaning and sanitation protocol to keep us safe from Covid-19, and took extra care to even provide face masks, extra cleaner and sanitizer for us to use. We were so surprised by the wine and local bakery treats left, a very thoughtful host for sure. Jay was kind enough to point us in the right direction for the best lobster, breweries and hiking trails and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed watching the tide roll in and out from the deck, a bonfire late into the night and using the amazing kitchen and bbq to cook all weekend. The bed under the stairs is the perfect afternoon napping spot. We were also pleasantly surprised with how dog friendly the cottage is. Jay left food bowls, treats and toys for our pup. It is nice to feel like our dog was not just “allowed” but welcome. Jay’s dogs stayed within a fence in his yard and were great neighbours. We hope to be back very soon, perhaps when the bigger house on the property is finished. Jay’s taste is fantastic & we loved staying in such a unique house with updated and trendy finishes, yet so many big and small details that represent the history of the house. We loved it!”

“Great spot for a getaway and peaceful relaxation. We had a wonderful weekend here and look forward to coming back someday. The cabin is right on the river and the AC was a very welcome perk as it was hot over our stay. The big chairs that look out over the river are a great spot to enjoy your morning drink and watch the Bald Eagle fish for breakfast. Everything we needed was there with lots of towels, awesome water pressure and lots of hot water for your shower. The bed was very comfortable as was the rest of the furniture. The WiFi was fast and worked well as I was able to stream content with no problem. If you are looking for a nice peaceful getaway for a weekend or longer i would highly recommend Eric's Crooked Cabin!”
A spacious 2-story open concept apartment in the middle of our house with a private entrance and upper deck overlooking large gardens on a country road. Although we are in a rural area, we are only 4 minutes from the town of Middleton and 10 minutes from Kingston and CFB Greenwood. We are centrally located in the Annapolis Valley, close to historic Fort Anne and Port Royal, 20 minutes to the world famous Bay of Fundy, and an hour drive to the historic South Shore.
“Wow - blown away - loved all the little touches, the extras (the food basket - wish I could have tried more!), anything you may have forgotten for toiletries were there, the gardens were so lovely, Cody the dog was super sweet, and I really wish I'd booked an extra night as we didn't get to enjoy the room long enough. Next time we are spending a night that way we will def look at booking again.”
