We are available if you need us but we will leave you to enjoy Watling House in peace! The house sits in the quiet village of Bridge, around three miles from historic Canterbury. The village is a great base for country walks in the Kent Downs, with plenty of local pubs for pit stops, or visits into Canterbury for its vibrant nightlife. Bus Services to Canterbury, Dover and the surrounding villages. Train service from Canterbury to London, Dover and Whitstable. Why visit Watling House... - Fantastic walks in an area of outstanding natural beauty - Lots of local amenities on your doorstep - three village pubs, local shop, butchers and a frequent bus service into Canterbury (approx 10 mins). - Close to the historic cathedral city of Canterbury. Visit the Cathedral, Canterbury Tales and the historic city walls. - You can nip up to London on the UK's first highspeed service from Canterbury West (approx 55 mins) or a day trip to France (approx 20 mins from the Port of Dover and the Channel Crossing). We haven't been able to list all of the great things to do in the area but can always tell you more... we would recommend a trip to one of the local Kentish vineyards for some famous English Fizz!

Lovely little cottage ideal for the three of us (plus the dog)! It was well looked after, very clean and comfortable with all basic essentials, plus a few bonus extras which many Airbnb's don’t always have (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and complimentary biscuits). We loved playing the Logo board game that we found hidden in the cupboard whilst enjoying the sunshine in the garden. Thank you!

We reallyenjoyed our stay at Emily’s Place! The studio was super cosy, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The garden was a real highlight – so peaceful and thoughtfully set up. Definite perks were indoor fireplace plus a bathtub. The surrounding area was also really nice. Communication with Emily was great throughout, and we really appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times, which made everything so easy. Highly recommend!
