Monthly Rentals in Bourrou

Wonderful stay for three weeks : four adults, 5 children (ages 5-11) and one dog. The house and annexe soaked us up beautifully. The pool is perfect and in view from the terrace above. We cooked on the new bbq and ate outside most nights. As expected for this region in August keep topped up on bug repellant and coils. All the rooms have ceiling fans to keep you cool - we had up to 39c outside and all slept fine. The kitchen is well stocked and with two fridges. On the cooler/wet nights, the living / dining space was perfect. All the rooms are en-suite and the annexe with a double and twin beds worked well for a separate group. There are lots of trails for walking or cycling nearby. However all shops and bakeries etc are a short drive away. There is horse riding in the village, good lake beaches nearby & rivers not far. Good local markets. Her neighbour also cooked us Lebanese food. Plenty to offer in the region. Great host and venue. We’d recommend.

Very pleasant stay in this beautiful castle in the countryside.

Beautiful family home in a delightful village. The weather wasn’t great when we stayed but the house was so comfortable and the views from the conservatory so nice it really didn’t matter. There is a Monday market, pizza van on Tuesday night, butcher on a Wednesday. There is a bar at the local campsite and a small restaurant in the village. There are lots of well signed walks in the area.

We had a great time! Marie-Laure is very welcoming and responsive. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, pleasant to live in and functional. The place is quiet with a beautiful view of the forest, which was able to delight us as well as our little dog!
