Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Bortelid

We had a great holiday. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful house. Unfortunately, the stove/open was not so easy to use. PlayStation 4, gym and kayak were not available (as advertised). Too bad!

Excellent house near the ski slope at the bottom of the mountain. That also means that during the day the sun does not shine on the terraces. The house is well decorated, feels comfortable when it has warmed up (it was -23C) and was spacious enough for the six people we were with. Two cars fit well with the house. The road was kept neatly snow-free. There were no appliances broken, everything was tidy and we would book it again. Great place, good host, nothing to complain about.

We stayed in the area for a friend’s wedding and had the most wonderful stay. Great communication from the host. The house and surrounding garden was absolutely beautiful, exactly as described. We loved using the paddle boards and the hot tub. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

This is truly a great cabin with everything you could dream of! Definitely proper people who own this castle of a cabin, because here there were clever and great details everywhere, and very modern. There were 6 of us on a trip, and all the young people and adults and the 6 year old found their zones where they relaxed, enjoyed their holiday and were able to settle! We checked out the sauna by a small pond one of the days and it was really cozy. Only 10 minutes walk from the cabin. Otherwise, we had lots of Easter activities and cooked delicious food. The sun was also on our side, so we were outside grilled on the fire pit. Here we would love to come back! Thank you very much for us🤗

Just the view is worth to come to spend some days here ! We have an amazing time in the camping, lots of people there and still very quiet. Neigbors are friendly and helpful, everything is clean and the view, the view ! The place was very very clean when we arrive, with nice yellow tulips (it was Eastern)! The kitchen is very well equipped and even if it’s small, we managed to cook and prepare for the barbecue. The ropes for fishing are good and it’s beautiful to fish there ! We were 2, used the 2 bedrooms and were happy with the beds. Liesell answers really quickly and always very friendly! I really recommend the place and hope to be back !

Our family stayed at Silje's for a weekend and we loved it. The house has a lot of character and is well stocked with everything you might need. The views of the river and waterfall are lovely. Although the property is near other homes it didn't detract very much from the experience. I would highly recommend to families with small children. Our two year old loved the toys at the house and playground at the nearby campground. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay and Johnny was delightful.

We had a really good stay at Karin and René's coziest cabin in Øvre Ramse. The most relaxing cabin, overlooking the most beautiful lake and in beautiful nature far from city life. The impressive mountain and the waterfall that you could hear at the house is so beautiful. There are beautiful and good hiking routes close by or a little drive from the cabin, we had a 3 year old on a trip. Their Youtube videos are easy to follow.

We liked this place so much and decided to stay here one more time on our way back from Bergen to Sweden!

We had a great time with Judith and Bouke. We felt very welcome from the first moment. The house is delicate and well-equipped and the views are simply magical. It was very nice to cycle Gamleveien to Folkestadbyen and relax on the beach near the house. Judith's gallery was the highlight of Folkestadbyen. The finest place there. We have acquired two fine works that we took home and hung on the walls. How lucky we are to have such great memories from our trip! Our daughter got to play with the cat and she had a lot of fun out on the sunny terrace. Many thanks to Judith and Bouke for their hospitality and kindness! This place is highly recommended!💖

I had a nice stay, only one night unfortunately, but the evening was ideal - very quiet! The view of the garden and the river is fantastic - it was warm and so nice to sit outside late at night. Nice trips from the apartment, all in all a perfect way to enjoy this short trip to Hornnes! Thank you so much, Tess! 😊

The place was a good fit for our staff who were going to do work in the area. Anne was nice!

Simply a magical place for animal lovers. The goats are adorable, such fun to spend time with them. The apartment was cozy and decorated with great creativity. The bed is made from an old wooden rowboat, which they have built into the wall. The decor and esthetic are quite simple as befits a barn and working farm. The goat yogurt they sell is the best I have ever had. The Setesdal valley has extraordinary beauty and is quiet, very un crowded. When we asked about what kind of coffee maker they had, they brought one over that worked with the coffee we had with us. Wonderful people.

As described, it is a basement apartment. If you like the charm, this is the place to be. It is very tastefully decorated with a beautiful old furniture and decoration. It was clean and normal in terms of amenities. The only thing that bothered me was the somewhat unsatisfactory operation of the lighting. So there is no central lighting in the entrance room, but only a bedside lamp and in the hallway the light switch for the rear part is at the very back. Tine and her husband welcomed us personally and very warmly. As a welcome there were also small chocolate pralines! Thanks so much. The location is perfect as hiking trails start almost at your doorstep. All in all, we were quite satisfied.

Thank you so much host for amazing place. Together with my friends, we really had a good time. Place perfect for 8 persons. Very cozy and clean, good wifi, nice kitchen. Who likes to watch movies very comfortable livingroom and who likes to site outside and enjoy view of nature, prepared terrace with furniture and fireplace. If will be difficult to find this place, call host, he is very helpful. Enjoy your vacation in this place with your family or friends!

We were in the apartment only a few hours but would love to come back here another time when we have a better time. Perfect space for families with children. Clean and nice in the apartment, good beds, and good communication with the landlord.

We only spent one night but it was perfect. If we had more time, we would have spent several days there. Knut is also very friendly and very friendly. We would highly recommend!
