“I had a great stay with the host Kate. A last-minute work schedule required a week’s stay in the North West and this location was perfect for my travels in and around Greater Manchester. Great communications, a very quick reply to my request on Sunday and the following evening I was shown a nicely decorated room, with tea & biscuits and internet connected TV. Kate and her cats were very friendly. The host is full of historical facts of the town should you wish to explore. Town centre is very short walk away and access from the motorway is very quick, even during rush hour.”
Beautiful annexe offering stone floors and an open fire in a tranquil idyllic setting. Part of a 400yr Barn located at the base of the Pennine moors, on a single track, private road. The Snug offers a rural retreat and a haven for Walkers and Nature lovers, offering doorstep scenic routes. Ideal for business use ( WiFi generally good but can on occasion be intermittent) Sporting and local events guests, with close proximity (approx 1m) to the M61, Middlebrook and 5m from Bolton Town centre.
“The snug is a little gem! The photos do not do it justice, its warm, spacious, located in the middle of stunning british countryside while being close to the town! The bed is luxuriously comfy and the log fires make for cosy romantic evenings! Rebekah was a wonderful hostess! Highly reccomend and will definately be back!”
The property is located on an established development of mixed housing stock and is situated in a quiet cul de sac position. Parking is situated at the front of the property for ease of access. From the conservatory you will have use of a lovely private garden.
“A very comfortable, boutique type house. A quiet pretty estate surrounded by trees, hence plenty of birds and the occasional squirrel visitors to the sun trap patio garden. A cosy sofa to curl up and watch tv from, and the bed was just right! I’ve spent two months of lockdown here, and in this scary surreal time, I was probably as comfortable here as I could be. Thanks Julie and Beverly!”
