Monthly Rentals in Bolsover District

To be honest when searching for a place on Airbnb Paula’s home kept coming up, and out of all the properties I looked at this one was ‘calling me’. I went there with my wife and two kids (17 and 10 yrs old). Being there was like winning the lottery. We all felt at home away from home and were blown away by the amazing view seen from the garden and inside the living room (incredible!). Bed we’re super comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for cooking a Sunday roast. Power shower, perfect! We almost didn’t go anywhere because we was happy to stay in the house and chill in the garden with the view or in the living room (with the view 😁) playing the games provided, mainly the board game Frustration. Nottingham is beautiful and Paula’s home is a testament to it. If we return to Nottingham I hope your place will be available. Thanks again Paula

We spent a really relaxing night in this lodge. Elizabeth sent us all the information we needed for our stay which was much appreciated. We enjoyed looking out at the sheep and lambs and listening to birdsong!

Lyn and Neil are warm and welcoming hosts and had obviously taken great care to make sure our stay was comfortable, both for us and our dog. We really appreciated all the wonderful treats and extra touches. Everything we could possibly have needed during our stay was there. The spotlessly clean cottage is an amazing renovation and has been decorated and tastefully furnished to a very high standard. It’s a very easy place to stay in. We loved it. Lyn’s handwritten instructions and recommendations are great and from that we chose to visit Pleasley Pit which is now a mining museum and nature park, with lots of paths to walk our dog and a dog friendly cafe. The reason for our stay was to meet up with a Border Terrier group for a walk and picnic at Clumber Park, which we can also recommend for a visit. We had a very relaxing and enjoyable few days and would thoroughly recommend a stay in Gravediggers Cottage.
