Had a lovely stay in Bishop Auckland to see friends, visit the area, collect sea glass at Seaham and complete a ring making course at PeaceGold ethical jewellery house at 53 Fore Bondgate Bishop Auckland. We were so lucky to be staying in this quiet, well equipped flat central and close to Auckland palace.

We have been in so many places in the last two years through Airbnb, but like Daryl place never been, the place had everything, clean, nice kitchen free cluttering, leaving room massive and big TV, nice sofa and pretty clean, rooms were good size with nice mattresses, bathroom very clean, If we ever go to Durham Daryl place will be my top choice to stay. I strongly recommend Daryl place.

I stayed in Gary's lovely flat for a week. I wanted to spend several days visiting the Auckland project, and use the buses to visit places of interest such a Durham and Stanhope and Barnards Castle. The location, in the main street, opposite the bus stop, suited me perfectly. It was a 10 minutes walk down to the Market Square and Auckland Palace, the Tower, the Park and museums and galleries, and 5 mins walk up the street to Morrisons. Gary and Fiona very kindly met me off the train and helped me with my luggage introduced me in person to the flat
