It's a great place to stay. The house is spacious and has everything you need. the location is amazing with a short walk to the beach and beautiful views from the deck. Would definitely come back.

The simple life personified. After a short time getting oriented and realizing there were no locks on doors (be sure to bring a small padlock if that’s a concern), we fell deep into the slow and restive rhythm of the place. Beyond charming with simple details to match the back-to-basics decor. Top it off with a private beach on the vlei, cozy hot tub, outdoor shower and a very comfortable bed, and what more could you ask for?

Best location to stay in Langebaan! Such a luxury to look at the ocean from the backyard. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is there. Definitely recommend

We had an absolutely awesome stay at Las Piedras! Everything was top class — from the beautiful, spotless property to the incredible attention to detail. Coreen was a top-class host: welcoming, professional, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The location is magical — right on the border of the nature reserve park. Erna's listing of Heron's Place is an absolute must to try. Our stay was just too short. We arranged a boat cruise on the river and because of the private jetty, they were able to pick us up at our doorstep and drop us off there again. The area is beautifully quiet and on the river. I would recommend it.

The host Linette is very warm and accommodating, and Vusi is always on site in case you need help – a really great team! The house is almost right on the small private beach, in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The location is ideal: you can get anywhere quickly by car, and shopping is also nearby. The place itself is clean, cozy and has plenty of space for a small family. We felt completely comfortable and had everything we needed. The house is well equipped with high quality utensils. Everything you need is there, and easy to use. Bedding and bathrooms is super clean and of good quality, with plenty of towels. It is very private and well placed for boating activities or just relaxing at the water. Cant wait for our next visit.

We had a fantastic time in Port Owen. The accommodation was great and in close walking distance to the restaurant. Fantastic access to the jetty and river system if you have a boat.

Great view of the boats from the balcony, very tidy and luxurious apartment. Check-in was straight forward and Susan was very responsive and nice. One consideration is that the production of dried fish, bokkom, might smell sometimes if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

Beautiful house in a stunning location - literally a sand dune at the back of 16mile beach. Great outside and indoor facilities. A peaceful spot to take a break from the city!

Great little cottage in the bush with a small creek at the front. Very comfortable beds and host was easy to communicate with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!
