It is the heart of the Maas-Schwalm-Nette International Nature Park. It offers a typical Lower Rhine landscape with 12 lakes, 70 km of cycling and 145 km of hiking trails. The landscape-typical, original flora and fauna can be admired in lovingly maintained natural protection facilities. Supermarket and bakery in walking distance. The highway 61 can be reached in about 8 km. Kaldenkirchen train station 7 is about km away. From there you can get directly via the Dutch border to Venlo and also in the other direction directly to Düsseldorf. Your home: The first floor of our detached house is your personal oasis of well-being for the duration of your stay. Since the summer of 2001 we have been happy to welcome our guests, who include everyone from the family with children to nature lovers to the assembly worker, who moves to Nettetal and the surrounding area. Our apartment offers about 60 m² of space for up to 4 people in 2 separate double rooms. Bright and spacious, with over 50m2 there is enough space for a luxurious stay for 2 people. Kitchen, room, bathroom, separate toilet, and bedroom are all new and luxurious. We have furnished the self-contained studio with high quality materials. Just the way you would like it to be at home. Although we do not serve breakfast, we always provide a fridge filled with some drinks, butter, yogurt/cottage cheese, eggs, jam upon arrival. There are also cereals, oil/vinegar, sugar, coffee and tea.

We spent 5 wonderful days in Anne's apartment. If you love peace, beautiful wide nature, beautiful villages and very good sleep (super beds;-), you have come to the right place with Anne! The apartment is large, clean and tidy, nothing is really missing, towels/ kitchen textiles etc. generously present with all plus a private garden and screens and shutters for the windows! Anne is a warm, flexible woman, with whom you can easily and cozily have a chat, and you quickly feel at ease! All in all, we had a great time!

I was with my husband and a few weeks old baby for unfortunately only a few days in the accommodation, but we will definitely come back! We were received in a very friendly manner by Hella. I liked the place even better than I could have guessed from the photos. The rooms are very nice and specially furnished. It was exceptionally clean! And the bed was super comfy. Everything was well thought out and we not only had a hearty breakfast, but a basket of goodies as well. We were able to use the sweet little oven and had it very cozy in there in the rain. But when the sun came, we enjoyed the yard and the grounds to the fullest. It is insanely idyllic and located right on the water. Everything is well maintained. You can only feel comfortable here. It's worth coming back just for the spots on the jetty. We thank Hella very much, who also inquired about our best in the meantime.

Sander is very receptive, communicative, and he is always ready to help. His house is so lovely. It contains everything we needed, it is perfecly cleaned, and the rooms are quite spacious. The neighborhood is quiet and is located near to supermarkets and to the bus stop. I highly recommend this place.

What a beautiful, spacious and bright apartment. We felt right at home here. The place was well decorated, and the little balcony was a welcome addition. The kitchen inventory was very complete; from herbs to oil and coffee: everything was there! The contact with Thorben went very nicely. Even though we didn't meet, we immediately had a good connection with each other. We hope to return here one day.

It was one of the very best vacations my wife and I have had in years, and much of that was due to not just the apartment but the outstanding communication and information we received from Jochen and Jakob. Friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Found a couple of wonderful places to visit, hidden gem restaurants on their recommendation, and tips for inter-city transport. We highly recommend this listing - can't wait to visit again!
