Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bay View, Milwaukee

Historic house given new life. Vibe is very urban, industrial. Location is convenient, walkable to so much! Two off-street parking spaces are a huge plus; additional vehicles must call the city hotline for overnight street parking pass. Tons of interior space with high ceilings, plenty of seating and separate areas, great for a group. Listing photos are accurate. Long staircase with three bedrooms upstairs. There is a bunk room on the main floor for anyone with mobility issues. Expect city people, city noises and no outdoor space. They thoughtfully supply ear plugs if needed, but we were fine. Cleaning was adequate as were mattresses, linens, kitchen supplies. Neat style & décor, lots of helpful touches throughout. Hosts were responsive and provided clear instructions. Would book again.

Michael’s home was the perfect setting for our families to come together. The home was well appointed and accommodating. We were able to find two play grounds within walking distance for our 4 year old and there were some great runs along the river within 1/2 mile of the home. We were so busy cooking in the lovely kitchen , we didn’t make it to Uncle Wolfie’s.

Great hosts and a fun place to stay. We enjoyed building with LEGO, playing foosball and air hockey. Autumn colors on the leaves in the park across the street. We’re so beautiful.

Such a beautiful stay and was the perfect place for our wedding weekend! The hosts had little intentional special touches throughout the house that made it feel like home! We would love to stay here again! Our only complaint is that there was a party directly next door and across the street with blaring music and microphones from the late morning to 3 AM the next day (not the hosts fault) but definitely affected the quality of our stay and our sleep.

Staying here felt like home. Amanda was curteous enough to allow a few family members over for a holiday gathering and the space was perfect for hosting and hanging out. The upstairs is private and the bathrooms are gorgeous. And stepping outside and walking to Tosa village for coffee, food and drinks was also super convenient. This will be our new local Airbnb for return trips to MKE.

Our family was in town for a wedding. We loved the location of this home, in a quiet and lovely neighborhood. There was easy access to the highway and a Starbucks nearby. Gaining entrance was quick and easy. This home was very cozy, comfortable, clean and well-stocked. There was plenty of room for all of us as each couple had their own bedroom. Except for the steps, it was very kid friendly- lots of room to play! Communication was excellent. We stayed at Chris/Kriti’s home after our initial home choice was cancelled, and we needed another place quickly. Glad it worked out for us. Be aware however, that the original price of the home is nearly doubled when all of the fees and taxes are added: Airbnb service fee, 18%; cleaning fee, 28% and taxes, 26%!!

We had a great stay with extended family on all three levels of Kyle's place. Clean, bright, interesting decor, easy to cook and share meals, very comfortable beds, great bathroom space. Kyle was responsive, engaging, easygoing and shared recommendations for restaurants in Bayview. We were disappointed we never got to use the park across the street and the patio space outside. There were food trucks, music and a beer garden at the park and lots of space to walk. We loved our stay and will definitely come back.

Great home for entertaining a large group. We loved the heated sunroom and played many hours of pool. The large projection screen was great for the football game. Kids enjoyed the foosball table. We had 15 for Thanksgiving dinner and had plenty of space with the dining table that sat 8 and an additional folding table. The hot tub was an added bonus. The kitchen has enough dishes and silverware for 16. Plenty of pots and pans and cutting boards. I did bring my own Pyrex baking dishes, cookie sheets and crock pots and I was glad I had them. Overall, it was a great experience and we would rent again.

It was so spacious and comfortable, especially with two bedrooms and two bathrooms as it was two couples staying there. I loved all the large windows allowing natural light and the beautiful view of Milwaukee and sunrise and sunsets. The balcony was nice to sit out on and be able to open the door and some windows. Location is fun, plenty of people out walking their dogs, nearby restaurants, next to a really cool looking ice cream place, also had off street parking. I always love to stay in historic buildings, especially ones that have been restored and repurposed such as this one. The old wood doors at entry and steps up to the second floor have character as does the unit itself. The kitchen was clean and modern.

Sue and Chad were very responsive. Our rental unit was on the first level of the house, with a few steps to reach the entrance to the unit. The three bedrooms, one for each of us, were comfortable. The kitchen and living room were also as described. There was a unit above us where other guests stayed as well. The garage spot was good for one of our cars. The place was located in a safe residential area. Links provided for Milwaukee's parking regulations were helpful and after a quick call to the City, it was easy to understand parking and the overnight parking permit (free) process. A mile from Lake Michigan to Bay View State Park made for a great walk anytime of the day.

Jim and Gino were very good hosts. I stayed there for 2 weeks because I felt I was welcome. Jim and Gino responded right away to all of my inquiries. The place was clean, which is very important for me. The kitchen very well equipped. It is a very comfortable house. You feel welcome in this house because you can tell that they thought about having many details for you to feel at home. The location is great, you can get any where by car in 10-15 min. The house is close to the beautiful lake. The price is very reasonable. Definitely, I will stay in this house next time I am in the area. Thank you Jim and Gino.

The location is very nice, convenient to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The kitchen was extremely organized and completely stocked. The bed was comfortable. Keep in mind the steps going to the unit are steep and the steps are shallow so you need to be careful. Depending who is staying in the lower unit, it could be less than soundproof. Overall it is a very good accomodation.

This location was perfect for us, near to our family. The place looks like the pictures, was clean and comfortable. Questions that I had were answered very quickly; we would stay here again if available!

Great location if you want to be in a quieter neighborhood close to all the fun things in the Milwaukee area. Close walking distance to restaurants, bakery, meat market etc. quiet at night. Space was bigger than expected and very comfortable. Easy to find, there is a parking spot behind the apartment for each apartment but only one.

Out of all the AirBnBs I’ve stayed in, this definitely lands on the top internationally. Excellent for short visits as well as long stays. Host is responsive and amiable, never felt like I wasn’t taken care of. Location is perfect as well, very central and close to everything.

I have not been in Wisconsin for 20 years. It was great to comeback to Bayview. The location was very convenient to everything including downtown. Love the shower, the water pressure was strong and perfect. Bed was comfortable, each room had an air conditioner, and it was hot during my visit in September. If I am to visit Milwaukee again, I would definitely consider. Thanks!

My cousins and I do an annual get away weekend every year and we were looking for the perfect spot and Abey’s place was it!! We had such a wonderful time! Her responsiveness to any text I sent was responded to immediately. She gifted us a welcoming champagne and even offered an entire dinner on her! We were incredibly happy with our stay, and the place is beautiful!! The layout is so unique and the backyard is like a dream! I am so incredibly thankful for Abey and for making our cousins get away weekend one to remember. We definitely will be back! If you need a perfect stay, no need to look any further Abey’s place is the one!

Truly a gem near Lake Geneva. Plamena’s place was very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to host our families. It was our first time vacationing again after having babies earlier this year and our toddler had a blast. She won’t stop talking about “her toys” at the airbnb. Plamena’s place is also a 5 minute drive to downtown Lake Geneva which was very convenient. Our overall experience was great, Plamena is an amazing host and we look forward to staying with her again in the near future.

We were very fortunate to book Wendi’s condo just a couple weeks prior to our trip. We wanted to celebrate a friend’s birthday away from Chicago and chose Lake Geneva for the proximity. We found Wendi’s condo to be a perfect combination of location, space, and amenities. Being just a 10-minute drive to Lake Geneva’s downtown allowed us to explore/eat and be back in time to enjoy the sunset and relax. There are Uber drivers around the area so none of us had to draw straws to be the DD. Keep in mind the entire complex becomes very quiet in the evening – this could have been due to us arriving the weekend after July 4th. Luckily, we came up here to relax but if you are arriving with a loud group you may upset the older neighbors. While we didn’t get a chance to use the pool or tennis courts, we did visit The Ridge hotel for its fantastic coffee shop and restaurant. Overall, we had a great time, felt comfortable and got exactly what we came up here for. Thanks Wendi!

Great condo that was in a beautiful setting. We went in the Fall and the property was very quiet. We saw turkeys and deer and enjoyed the view of the lake from the condo. Mars restaurant was a short walk away which was also nice.

Booked the combining rooms for a girls trip and it worked out amazingly! Plenty of room. Being that the property is on the resort and you are able to utilize the trolleys, restaurants and pools making this the perfect spot!! Everyone shared how relaxing and beautiful the resort is, they all want to go back! Highly recommend booking with Anthony!

This is a unique historical property and it was a wonderful opportunity for our family to be able to stay together for the holidays with plenty of space.
