House vacation rentals in Bathampton

Fabulous house and very responsive host - our only comment would be that it would be great if the garden was secure for any 4 legged friends, but we took an extendy lead because we read other reviews, just grateful our dog could be there!

We enjoyed our stay at Jan's house in Someford Keynes. The rooftop entertaining space was a particular favourite of our group. For future travels, id note the following: * The ammenties in the holiday park are very busy and require significant prior planning. Unfortunately, our group were not able to swim as all of the slots were taken, and all spa appointments were booked weeks in advance. * There are a lot of children and families around the park. As such, there are a lot of rules for noise/entertainment (which is fair!), but just worth being aware of in case your group would prefer an adults-only experience. We enjoyed the space and appreciated the proactive communications from the host!

Thoroughly enjoyable stay, kids loved the swimming pool. Facilities fantastic and an extremely comfortable stay for all.

This little estate is beautiful, the wildlife was amazing, I went with a toddler and my husband and very pregnant. Walkable playgrounds and a trampoline, swimming pool in the spa is lovely inside outside pool. Perfect for little one. Really enjoyed the peacefulness. Bank holiday weeks are very busy and everything requires to be booked so we were grateful to have several days without the peek of the holidays. House has lovely bedrooms. Was a much needed break after having to cancel a holiday to Greece due to pregnancy complications we picked this little village and was totally worth it. Day trips out to Cotswold wildlife is a worth a trip and Cirencester (we’ve been a few time is still a beautiful little town) worth bringing some essential you may need if cooking within the house.

Great house, very private, and great location, with shops, coffee shops and restaurants, and The Down’s all in walkable distance. Lovely public park and children’s play park next to house. Good communication from the host ahead of our stay. Lovely housekeeper who welcomed us and showed us round the house, and was on hand for any additional queries. Lovely welcome pack with breakfast food too. Pool and garden were fab additional amenities. Recommend.

We loved our stay at Mike and Joan’s barn. We were a mixed family group including three generations. Everyone loved the pool - which was so relaxing and clean and the perfect temperature. Two of our group couldn’t get out much for health reasons but they both loved the character and comfort of the barn and feeling so connected to nature even without leaving the property. We loved watching goldfinches on the common from the dining room window and my daughter slept on the mezzanine sofa bed so she could wake to the spectacular sunrise. Both Mike and Joan made a real effort to meet our slightly complicated needs (autistic teenagers, elderly grandad having cancer treatment) and Mike was incredibly kind letting me and my horsey daughter enjoy wonderful times with his beautiful horses. We had an amazing trip, made some precious memories and very much hope to come back soon. Big thank you to Joan and Mike.

This was everything we needed and more, there is a range of sports equipment, toys and books for the kids and travel cots, all sorts of thoughtful items. An abundance of under explained helpful additions that make it a very well thought out accommodation and place to stay. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Amazing stay - perfect stay on the lake. Lovely clean house on the lake. Lovely added extra of the double Kayak. Only downside - is no sun on the deck in the afternoon.

The house was wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It was in a great location with easy access to the railway station, town centre and Cathedral. William was extremely helpful and responsive. The only minor drawback was the limited availability of on street parking. William did everything possible to help us acquire a visitor parking permit, but finding parking in the immediate area was a little difficult during the evenings. We would definitely recommend and stay at William’s property again.

Lovely couple of nights stay. Peaceful, close to country walks and runs, village pub and we also paid a visit to the Cotswold Sculpture Park. Pauline was very prompt at replying to a couple of messages and the house was very clean. We were discussing doing the same trip again next year!

This is a lovely spacious house with a garden in a pretty street. It has very good kitchen equipment and louise is an extremely helpful host. There is a train line at the back but the double glazing is very good and the trains don't run at night.

We had an excellent stay at the rainbow lodge. It was even better than we expected! the lodge was immaculate, spacious and had stunning views of the lake. We also utilized the on site play park and took walks around the lake. We stayed as 2 couples with 2 young children and had plenty of space and everything we needed.

Beautiful place with a great view over the lake. It also looks bigger than the pictures and comfortably hosted 6 people and 2 medium sized dogs! The weather was great and we had a good sized outdoor area to eat and relax, but as it got cool in the evening we moved back indoors where three was more than enough space to play games around the table. The bedding was also very comfy which made for a really cosy nights sleep! We would definitely come back.

Ours was a brief overnight stay but t was beautiful and just what we needed after a long day of driving. It was exactly as described and easy to find and to enter. We would definitely stay again.

Really great place for group or large family break. The house had everything you could need including board games as well as garden games / activities. We visited with a 3 year old and 6 month old and had everything we needed and kept them entertained. Would highly recommend and would love to return! Couldn’t fault the host or the property

This is the second time we have stayed at Chipping Sodbury to attend the Badminton Horse Trials. It really is an amazing location. Leanne and Richard were again fabulous hosts. The accommodation is clean and comfortable. The shower was warm but lacking a little pressure. The kitchen is well fitted with a full size fridge/freezer. We can certainly recommend the Italian restaurant next door, and it is within walking distance of the local Waitrose. Parking is on the road which can be busy and the pub across the road can also be a little noisy.

Really nice place. I would absolutely recommend to stay here. Very clean and high standard. Always replied quickly if we had any questions. They go the extra mile to make you feel like home!

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

Home away from home it suited our family thank you for the warm welcome it was just what we needed!

Stayed here for a hen doo and it was perfect! Great location with a car park nearby, the house was clean, tidy, and had plenty of space with good-sized bedrooms. The host was really helpful before our stay, sending info about the area and house rules. Would definitely recommend! X

I cannot fault this home! We all kept commenting on how lovely it was during our stay! It was a lovely location for visiting Paulton's Park (the main reason for our visit to this part of the world) and we also went to Stourhead which was beautiful, but the house made family time so easy and enjoyable. In the lead-up to arriving, I contacted Victoria quite a few times with some questions and she couldn't have been more accomodating of my baby brain! Thank you! we've already recommended it to friends! x

A bit tricky to find, but once we did this was a really wonderful house in a great location and very well presented and equipped. Absolutely loved it.
