Stunning spot with great Glamping facilities. We loved the log fired sauna and hot tub. The site is carefully fenced so our Cockerpoo could charge around without us having to worry about livestock. Lovely area - which we know well and loved reconnecting with.

It is really a great place to stay, it really comfortable,tidy and nice, with free Wi-Fi, along with fully kitchen , and also the host very friendly and nice we are happy to back again Thank you so much jaya

We loved our stay in elderberry pod it is beautiful & the detail that’s gone into it I’d certainly say it’s made with love. Only negative we had was we was not informed the cafe, the shop & activities were not on due to being New Year’s Eve. I appreciate everyone requires time off but we would like to have known that as we may have brought activities with us. Other than that we would love to book again & it was a beautiful place couldn’t fault anything other than not letting us know what was not in use whilst we were there. Thanks again

Amazing stay at Mark’s shepherds hut. Incredible location, super peaceful and as described. Well kitted out. We had a lovely BBQ and enjoyed some marshmallows say around the fire. The abbey nearby was worth a visit and had a swim in the river. Would definitely visit again. Thanks Mark.

Directions were very good - easy to miss so using 3words app a top recommendation. The cabin was fab and very quirky with lots of little touches. The immediate garden area is very private and just over the drive is a beautiful field which the dogs loved. The views from the top of the field are sublime.

Catherines communication was amazing. Clear check in instructions/directions and offered ideas for local area if required. Garden cottage was beautiful, quiet, private, peaceful location. Good parking. Bread, milk, eggx on arrival plus a head start on tea & coffee (much appreciated) Catherine was very welcoming and friendly when we saw her. We had a full day at Castle Coombe Circuit on the Saturday (only 5 minutes up the road) We stayed the night before and the night after and it was lovely to come back to. Had everything you would need. Loved the linen bag for ease on check out. Loved having a full size dining table. Loved the luggage rack in bedroom. Bed realky comfy and shower was fab. Great instructions for fire safety/appliances/TV & WIFI and check out guidelines. We sat with the door open on Saturday night listening to the birds and loved that their little dog popped in to say hi. Garden cottage all on one level, so perfect for us. Will definitely return & recommend. Thank you!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

Lyn and David are the most wonderful hosts! David build the home from the ground up and it is very beautiful! We loved how homely it felt, comfortable beds, views that are out of this world and a really peaceful place to be! We can’t thank you both enough for allowing us to share your slice of Mendip Hills beauty!! Lyn left some homemade scones which were to die for! We have to revisit as we didn’t explore all the amazing walks and Wells in more detail , and would not think twice to stay again. PS there is a beautiful little shepherds hut nearby with the same amazing views also built by David (Lyn said because he was bored!) Hopefully David remains bored, we look forward to his next amazing space/s. We highly recommend you visit!

My husband and I stayed for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and we loved it. Tony gave us a really warm welcome, which was such a nice start to the trip. The place was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, relaxing, and in a lovely area. The cabin itself was spotless, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the little personal touches like the anniversary banners and welcome sign made it feel extra special. The hot tub was amazing. Great stay for a girly weekend, rural location, very private garden, hot tub and sauna and quite surroundings area Chaska was quick and responsive, alot of information given in detail Easy check in Place was clean and tidy, amazing comfy bed and duvet! Highly recommend!

Sally was a great host, welcomed us in and explained everything so we could make the most of the amenities. She recommended great places to go and the shepherd's hut was lovely and cosy. Can't ever go wrong with a hut tub too! Would stay again!

Cosy accommodation exactly as described. Foxes & cub in garden was a bonus. Accommodation has everything you need, kettle, milk & water in the fridge for a brew. A microwave for midnight snacks.(plates, cutlery provided) Shower gel/bath soak for a nice relaxing bath after your travels. Close proximity to walk into town for great choice of restaurants, shopping etc

We had a wonderful stay in Lisa's beautiful and unique property. Everything had a handmade and beautiful finish to it and worked really well. Our stay at the Shepherds hut exceeded our expectations. It was beautiful inside and out, spotlessly clean, tasteful decor and had everything we needed for a relaxed and pleasant stay. The view was stunning and Lacock is 15 min walk away. We were fortunate with the weather but it would still be great in the cold or rain. Our host Dilly was lovely and would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

It's exactly what it looks like, very cosy self-contained home-away-from-home. Somewhere between a private mini chateau and beach hut. The ladder/stairs could be a challenge if you have mobility or balance issues, even I got a bit of vertigo as I was heading for the bathroom in the early morning. I struggled to find the code to the key box and had to phone the owner who was very responsive and hopeful - probably my fault but this could be made more obvious in future communications. All in all very pleasant and I hope to stay again in future.

Place was great, and the view of the garden was beautiful. She was so helpful and everything was perfect.

We had a lovely time, Joe and Sarah were very friendly and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect place to relax, it felt like our own small oasis. Would definitely recommend.

Anne was a lovely host and the shepherd's hut was excellent. The only issue with our stay is that the wi-fi was incredibly intermittent, and we could only get it to work very briefly on the first morning of our stay, which is a shame as we were both hoping to use the time to get some work down. Other than that, we had the perfect stay!

We had a great stay, such beautiful accommodation with amazing views. Rosaline was easy to contact and her directions were easy to follow. The unit had everything we needed for a weekend stay, we were toasty warm the whole time and wouldn't hesitate to stay here next time we visit Bath. Thank you Rosaline 😊

We really enjoyed our stay at Fiona’s Shepherds Hut. It was decorated and finished to a high standard, very comfortable and actually feels bigger inside than expected! The log fire was great (although it gets very hot very quickly, probably our fault and put one too many logs on, we actually had to open a window at one point!). Fiona was very responsive to our questions and queries, including when the solar power went off due to the poor weather. (The farm shop directly over the road also do an incredible breakfast!) Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and is an ideal base for a quiet weekend away. Thank you Fiona!

We revisited the Shepherds Hut again this year for our anniversary and had a wonderful stay, we definitely recommend. The location is great for countryside walks and pub stops, we ate out one evening at a local pub and cooked in the second, lit the fire and enjoyed the surroundings! The hut itself is clean, modern and Jo the host had left some treats as a special touch! Thank you!
