Spacious and clean property, comfortable for a near-month-long stay, thank you for hosting!

Lovely little apartment, great for the two of us. Compact and comfortable. Very comfortable sofa and bed! Thank you for leaving milk, tea and coffee etc in for us. Good location a few minutes from town and the Lake. Was tricky to find initially as on a private road with very small sign but once we’d found it we were all set.

Robin was a great host, who greeted us on arrival and showed us around the accommodation. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the cottage has loads of guides and maps for guests to use. How Head Barn was comfortable and cosy, a delight to return to after a day of exploring in the Lakes. The log burner was a really nice bonus, with logs supplied by our host, helping us to warm up and dry out after some wet and windy walks. We loved How Head and Ambleside, we would happily return to this wee gem. Thanks Robin

A superb property in an unbeatable location! This was an outstanding property and exactly what we hoped for. The hosts were fantastic - helpful, clear, fast communication - and the location was amazing, right in the centre of Ambleside. The space was well-appointed, modern and spotlessly clean; everything worked as it should and we had everything we needed (including sharp kitchen knives, which are so rare in Airbnb properties!). Lovely comfortable beds too, and a few nice touches such as a pint of milk on arrival, a few games, and useful items like cooking oil, tea, coffee, salt & pepper. Parling was nearby and easy. Thank you for a very relaxing, restorative stay.

We had an issue accessing our previous air BnB that we had booked. I found this place and contacted the host Trevor to explain our situation and to ask if he could help. His place wasn’t quite ready for guests but he went round there and had it ready for us within an hour. Really went above and beyond to ensure that we weren’t left stranded. Very friendly service and a lovely find, the accommodation was perfect. Excellent service. We are very grateful that we found a great last minute booking with a lovely host. Thank you Trevor

We had a wonderful stay here and Michelle is a fantastic host. She is quick to respond, friendly and very flexible. The place had everything you needed including a lovely shower, comfortable beds and a secluded outdoor space filled with trees and birdsong! Just around the corner you can access the canal for wonderful walks. We would have no hesitation in recommending this place and will definitely be returning!

The apartment location was fabulous - down a quiet street with ample roadside parking, yet only 10 minutes walk downhill to the centre of Bowness with all its charm, lakeside bars, restaurants and shops. The apartment its was well equipped, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again.

We had a great stay at West View! The facilities were top-notch — everything was exactly as described. The kitchen was fully equipped, the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, and the entire space was spotless. The attention to detail really made the difference. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in an ideal location. We will be back.

A lovely flat, in a great location for the beach, shops, pubs and restaurants. We particularly liked the balcony and as the weather was kind to us, we were able to make the most of it. 😎. A parking space around the back of the property was an added bonus. We really enjoyed our stay. Morecombe is a hidden gem!

One of the most beautiful places where we have stayed. Beautiful interiors and a very calm neighbourhood. Everything was perfect. And also she provided all the basic amenities as mentioned. Pam was very helpful and quick to respond. We really love to come back to Pam’s place. And we highly recommend it.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Greg’s place “Penthouse”. Communication was very clear and with all the information we needed to hit the ground running on our little trip away to Bowness. We found the place easy enough thanks to the instructions provided by Greg and it was great to have private, dedicated parking space - something we’ve not had before when we’ve stayed in such a central location before. Self check in was really smooth using the lockbox to let ourselves In. The penthouse was spotlessly clean. Bed was incredibly comfy and didn’t want to get up this morning! Kitchen facilities were great with everything we needed to cook a fab breakfast before heading out for a days walking. And the view from the living area, wow! The location of penthouse was second to none, only 2 minutes walk and we were in Bowness where there was a great selection of bars and restaurants for our evening meal and a few drinks. Overall a fantastic stay! We’ll be back!

Lovely stay in a beautiful town. The Loft was cute and surprisingly spacious. Alison was very communicative, offering recommendations and being clear on instructions. The nearby surroundings had brilliant restaurants and pubs, so I'd highly recommend both The Loft and Cartmel.

its a great place Fantastic views, Nik is very helpful and a great host but also keeps his distance. overall a great place to stay if your visiting Fleetwood or Thornton-Cleveleys.

Jayne's place is fantastic - a lovely, quiet place to stay in interesting historic building. The location is excellent and the studio itself is well-equiped, comfortable, and spotless. Jayne is an excellent host, and she is very helpful and friendly. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Ulverston is a lovely town and although the flat is in the center we found it very comfortable and peaceful. From there its easy to get to the local beaches and the Lakes. We would use it again when in the area.

Lovely clean accommodation. We were a little worried it might be noisy with other flats in the building but it was lovely and quiet and we all slept great! Everything you need for a little trip! Would’ve been great to receive some info about the location of the parking just because it was a little tricky to find around the back but once we figured it out it wasn’t a problem! Thanks again!

Such a steal last minute booking on a bank holiday, we were so surprised it hadn’t been booked being in such a central location and obviously the hot tub which is always a big swading point for us. The bathroom was absolutely gorgeous. So spacious for 2. The hot tub was a lovely temp with a little cover above us which helped with privacy from other houses and the rain. Though there was a little tear or two in it which meant rain seeped through but this didn’t bother us. We were a little taken back there wasn’t a microwave either but again this wasn’t an issue. Everything was spotless. Round the corner from one of our favourite pubs (the crafty baa) and plenty of food, drink and shops around. Thank you so much for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay xx

We stayed here just for one night for a hen do and had a wonderful time. There was plenty of parking, the hot tub and sauna were ready for us on arrival and the beds were nice a comfy. Plenty of seating in the living and dining room. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Fantastic stay at Ferry View Studio. The studio was exactly what we needed for a nice relaxed weekend. Fantastic location and close to local attractions with a lovely walk along lake Windermere. Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed here for a week and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, within walking distance to Windermere town (about 10 mins) and also Bowness (about 20 mins). The accommodation was spacious and clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Gary and Ange were fantastic hosts, they made us feel very welcome whenever we bumped into them and went above and beyond to return a personal item we accidentally left behind. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time we visit the Lake District.

A lovely loft - perfect and just what we needed for our 2 day mini-break. The loft was much bigger than we anticipated so that was a lovely surprise. The little touches were great too - fresh towels, milk, butter, instructions for the hot tub, even some jigsaws for the rainy afternoon. Everything we needed. The outdoor space was so peaceful. Even though we were on the farm’s property, we felt right at home, comfortable and had the privacy we wanted. The neighbours were adorable - cows and their calves! The outdoor space was secure for our two dogs. Plenty of room for them to stretch their legs and play on the grass. Thanks for a great stay!

My partner and I were up for a break from work - arrived feeling stressed and left feeling happier. The hot tub was a lovely treat, rooms were lovely, decor was modern and cozy, and the location cannot be beaten.
