Farmstay vacation rentals in Barcelos

Large atypical house and true to the photos. 2 night spaces (2 bedrooms in the basement + 3 bedrooms) separated from the rest of the common areas. To be expected with small children but keep calm :) The common areas are large and practical (kitchen, dining room, pool table, reception room) A real Garden of Eden: lots of plants, enclosures with peacocks, chickens, ducks, golden pheasants and others… fed by a nice lady next door. Generous and very responsive host. We were given some vegetables from the farm. Delicious.

Gui was the best host you could have. From the very first minute, we felt right at home. The place is idyllic: the river, the birds, the flowers... The house has everything you need to have a relaxing and private stay. Our dogs have enjoyed the freedom of endless fields to explore. Gui's willingness to help with any need has been absolute at all times, he is a real gem. We left with a full heart and an immense desire to return.

Antonio's airbnb has everything that's needed and it was clean. Antonio was very eager to help us a lot with recommandations for places to eat, surf and visit the area.

Our 2nd time at Jaime's place. Very relaxing week, unfortunately the local café was closed for their holiday so we couldn't get our daily Pastel de Nata, we went instead to Porto to learn how to make them! Jaime was helpful and generous, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the swimming pool!

Very good welcome by Antonio as well as by his mother, very attentive, ready to do a service and speaking, among other things, very good French. Very nice welcome breakfast and coffee, good location compared to the different places to visit. Product as advertised with good value for the money.

Pleasant stay in a quiet environment and a usable swimming pool despite the passable weather.

The house is beautiful, of a typical architecture of the villages of the north of the Iberian Peninsula, very well preserved and equipped, has all the amenities, even for a dinner with many people. Calm environment, familiar and great for pets. As the house is all walled is safe for even the most restless pets. The pool area is also fenced, good for children. Although we have been there in the winter all the spaces have some kind of heating and many covered. Alexandra is very kind and helpful, willing to help whenever we had a question about how the house works. Thank you very much Alexandra for the excellent stay you have provided us.

We love it,great for a family vacation. The pool is very nice with a lot of loungers, the living area (with foosball,ping pong.ja has everything you need, tennis rackets and balls, etc.)was very useful for us to fill the time that could not be in the pool as well as the tennis court. an experience to repeat for sure.

I had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb, largely thanks to our incredible host Ella. She went above and beyond to assist us, not only organizing meeting rooms but also arranging meals and providing restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. Her responsiveness was outstanding; it felt like she was always on standby, ready to help with whatever we needed. I can't thank her enough for making our visit so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free experience!

Fantastic space, was a great stay with 5 adults and a baby. Rita was so accommodating and easy to deal with. The place is large with a lovely living area. Wish we had booked for longer than 4 nights! Highly recommend.

We feel like home. Easy to move inside the space, with the necessary even for a longer stay. Carlos is super attentive and always responsive. 2 b*****s travelled with us, who found an outdoor space to run and be without stress. It's a family accommodation. Receptivity to our suggestions. we advise the place of Carlos. An ideal farm to escape stress and run. Ha nearby supermarkets.

Nice modern home in a beautiful village. Lots of great walking / hiking nearby, and close to Viana do Castelo and to Spain. The property is dog friendly and was great for our dog as it’s fully fenced.

Un sitio fántasico, are several casitas where in each one a family or a group is housed. Inside it's all new and super clean, there was a lot of kitchenware, hair dryer... etc. Each casita has a table outside. They have an area with animals and an area with a pool and sunbeds that is great. If I had to say something negative, it is that upon arrival we were asked for a security deposit of €100 that will be returned to us on the last day if everything was fine and we did not have that cash, it is important to notify us before those details. I would definitely recommend it and would be happy to come back another time.

It was the second time we chose this place and it was excellent! We felt right at home! Enjoy so much nature and animals, calm and comfort! It is undoubtedly a very good place to rest and for good times alone or with family! We'll definitely be back! And Susana is very friendly and helpful! We really liked it!

This location is great, it's very secure and the grounds are exceptionally beautiful. The home itself is spacious and clean and the hostess is very responsive. The price is a great deal based on the location, security, peacefulness and spacious premises. I definitely recommend this location.

we were very nice the whole family a functional cute house the house owners live on and if you need them don't hesitate to help.te had the detail of leaving in the fridge a bottle of water and wine. if we ever come back in the area from catalunya we will definitely go,a pleasure to enjoy their place both good you could have a house like this,thanks

We were 8 bachelor party friends and the truth the attention unbeatable! we had to go out at 11h in the morning and talking to Elizabete we were able to go out at 13h without any problem! the house inside great, very spacious and heated in all the rooms... and by the outside spectacular!!! the pool, the garden, the vineyards... everything perfect! we will repeat without hesitation!!

A group of 6 had a wonderful 2 night stay, the photo's and description of the property and its surrounds are very accurate. Communication prior & during was excellent & restaurant recommendations were very helpful. The attention to detail & history of the property takes you back in time & makes for a memorable stay. Thank you Marta & Daniel for sharing your beautiful farmhouse 10/10 we would definitely recommend.

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

Quinta da Toural is an absolutely wonderful farm for a group of friends or a large family. It is composed of a large house, the main house with 4 suites, equipped with air conditioning, tv, electric shutters and huge bathrooms! Then there are 3 more T1 houses, 1 bedroom, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. And yet another T0 house. All rooms and bathrooms have the same size and scale, that is, they are equivalent in terms of quality! The farmhouse has many very dear animals! 2 ponies, goats, 1 sow and an Emu (Ostrich's cousin). The photographs of the ad do not live up to the wonderful countryside, the pool with a panoramic view and the well-kept gardens. We really loved it and we want to go back to the year! We were a group of 15 adults and it's all so spacious that we didn't even feel like we were so many! The host is very attentive and communicative! It is always available to help!

Monica's place is a fantastic and quiet place, really well located to visit Gerês and Braga's region. Mónica is an outstanding host and always helpful. We definitely recommend it and we will hopefully return.

Quinta do Olival was a pleasant surprise, with all the necessary amenities in a rustic and elegant environment, we spent an excellent weekend. Very comfortable and cozy, with a lovely pool, we were very impressed. To culminate Olga was always very attentive and friendly. Congratulations on your project :)
