A lovely apartment, very spacious and all the basics in there for everything you could need. Very well equipped, plenty of parking, lovely outdoor area too.

We had the perfect holiday, with everything we needed. The grounds are amazing and the house charming and homely. House and garden work really well for all ages. We would love to go back again. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment was cute, and Maria was very friendly and helpful. The apartment is in a rural enclave between Braga and Barcelos, providing easy access by car to surrounding towns. There are three large comfortable bedrooms, a dining room and a large terrace with a great view. The bathroom was newly renovated. A few things to consider: the gas stove was fine, but the oven appeared to be wood-heated, so not practical. One of the 2 bathrooms was outside the apartment, in a shared space downstairs. The pool, instead of a standard above-ground swimming pool, was more like a raised pond. It was good for a dip, but it wouldn’t have been good for small kids (no steps or shallow end) or for swimming (too small). The animals were super cute though city folks like us might be awoken by the roosters ;) There was also noise from the nearby highway. On the whole, we were happy with our stay and would stay again! A cute, convenient apartment with a lovely host :)

It has been a pleasure to be at Olivia and Salvador's house, as at home, everything has been perfect, clean, tidy with everything you need to spend a perfect few days. They have made us feel very comfortable, they are very close, but always respecting intimacy. They advised us in a great way to be able to organize the different visits for us. They have a garden and an orchard that are a paradise. The situation has been unbeatable, "close" to all parts of northern Portugal, so you don't have to be driving all day. A great home to keep in mind when you want to know all the north of Portugal

A communicative and flexible host gave us some site recommendations. He showed us the apartment, which is as in the pictures and told us what we had at our disposal. The place is clean, calm and nice. The kitchen is fully equipped. I recommend your stay!

The villa is incredible, breathtaking from the moment you step in. The photos cannot do it justice. We only made two trips out (apart from food shopping) because we had no need or want to leave. The space is fantastic and every room is beautiful. If you are interested in sports it caters for everything there is an indoor games hall which has almost everything you could desire. This includes the tennis racquets for the court. The pool is wonderful and very relaxing - if you’re lucky you’ll get visits from the swallows as we did. As mentioned by the host and a few reviews you will need a car to get there and to get around but it’s a great way to explore the area when you do decide to go out. We ran around the area, did some hill sprint sessions and also some HIIT sessions within the villa ground. You can do everything. There are also lots of great beaches around the area some of which are suggested in Fernando’s welcome book and one of the ones we visited. Fernando and Pedro were great hosts very helpful and always at the end of the phone should we require anything. Relaxed, helpful and humorous. You are also provided with a welcome book which has lots of information about things you can do, where you can go and how to do them! 5* all the way. A perfect place for a getaway with friends and I imagine family too. I don’t doubt we will be back to visit in the future.

A magical house to stay in. The pictures don't do it justice. Joana and Haydee were wonderful, very responsive and helpful. the location is great with easy access by car to Porto as well as seaside. The only thing to be mindful of is the house does not have central heating so you will need to use the fireplace and the electric heaters in the rooms if you visit in winter. I would highly recommend.

Place was great. Me and my family felt like at home . Apartment is very clean, location is great, close to restaurants. Host was fantastic, I texted her late at night bc I had some problems with the heat for the water and she answered me right away. Lucky me it was not a malfunction of the heater I just didn’t know how it works. Everything was great. I’m definitely coming back but next time will be for longer period of time. Thanks

Luis' apartment fully corresponded to the listing. The sea view is magnificent, and you can even watch the surfers in December. Tip: Test the pizzeria across the street. Really great!

Very nice apartment for vacation. All rooms are air conditioned, which worked very well to heat up the house. The water bottle with a filter was very helpful. There are also umbrellas at the entrance to the apartment. There's a baby chair, crib with pillow and blanket and even a bathtub, all great. There is a parking with exit very close to the apartment through a gallery. There is still another cheaper town that is almost as close as it is, whose price is more in account (15 euros/day). It is possible to leave and enter the parking lot at any time of the day. The balcony of the room is very good, but we do not use it much because of the cold of winter. The apartment is in excellent condition and is very quiet. One exception was the wooden floor, the noise of which may disturb a little at night (when someone goes to the bathroom while the others are asleep); it is, however, nothing serious and I will certainly stay again with Joana when I return to Braga.

Super place to stay for 2 people. Very close to all you need. Located in historical area. Our visit was in Nov and not even parking was a problem. Take note of the 3 flights of stairs, but they are super well maintained and well lit. Highly recommended - thanks to the host.

again, an amazing stay in Marta‘s flat. we have been hosted by Marta the second consecutive year. marvellous treatment and magnificant flat. great size for three guys, interessted in golf and good food.

My family and I stayed for nearly two weeks in Portugal, at 5 different AirBnBs. This was definitely the best. The property and views are beautiful, and the flat was very clean and well provisioned. But more than that, Daniel and the other co-hosts were very friendly and welcoming. I wholeheartedly recommend their place, especially for families looking to unwind a bit and who are interested in seeing aspects of Portugal outside of the more touristy, typical locations.

our host is very attentive to our requests moreover we met his parents who are very friendly! this apartment is very cozy and makes you feel at home! In the evening if you like to hear the sound of the waves you just have to leave the glass window open to hear you the noise of it.

This was our second time staying here. We were here in July 2023 and October 2023. Location was fantastic, close to tourist attactions and local restaurants. Isa was great! She was quick to respond to any inquiries and also checked in with us to see if we needed anything. Will definitely book again when in Portugal.

Casa Engenho not far from Braga is a real gem. An old mill has been renovated with enormous effort, with a lot of emphasis on the preservation of the old elements. Once located on the river, you have many possibilities such as canoeing, walking, swimming (where we were here in winter), fishing, etc. Sensational is the morning spectacle of the fish otters, which we watched from the balcony while playing and hunting. It is absolutely unique. We visited the spa daily, we also used the barbecue house. The apartment T3 impresses with the size and beautiful furnishings. All rooms are with bathroom and TV. The kitchen is functionally furnished, whereby you should bring the basic supply of food (oil, pepper, coffee pods Dolce Gusto, etc.). The cleanliness of the entire complex is exceptional. Monica is always helpful, very warm and a work bee.
