Monthly Rentals in Ban Ho

Staying at Lo's place was really awesome. You take a taxi from Sa Pa to the listing. Depending on the vehicle, it can get you pretty close, only then you'd understand that the price of the taxi is worth it. The views were stunning, I kid you not. We came during planting season, so instead of the green rice field in the picture, it was full of water. This was so nice especially during the full moon. The reflection of the moon as you sit outside was enchanting. The room is simple, it's a clean comfy bed and a hot shower (and a nice sink). Two sides of the room was all glass, so you could chill on the bed and be mesmerized by the view of the mountains in front or the rice field/pond on the side, it was amazing. Really worth the money on this one. Hot shower did not come on at first but Lo responded immediately (not even 10mins) and reset the hot shower and it worked like a charm. Lo was very helpful and the people of Ta Van are nothing but lovely. We really enjoyed our experience

The homestay’s location is great, there’s a few walks needed but that’s to be expected when you select an accommodation in their area. Cuong’s room, food, and beverages are well priced! They have hot shower and made the effort to keep the restrooms clean. The host also provide cheap motorcycle rental And they have a very friendly big dog and 1 puppy- so cute! We feel very lucky about meeting with May's family. We felt very welcome and had a great time staying there. Cao was very helpful with anything we needed. We loved the place, lost at the end of the road, did not feel like over-touristy Sa Pa at all. Be ready to be surrounded with chicken, cats, dogs, duck, pigs and buffalos. We were incredibly lucky that we were here right at the time to pull the rice out of it's initial field, and replant it everywhere on the terraces. We saw the color of the hill change over one day. Highly recommend if you want a true experience immersed with a Red Dao family.
