Lovely stay by the lake. It’s definitely an escape from the hustle bustle but also close to a lovely village with plenty of amenities. Lots of nature to admire and very quiet and serene. While there are two cabins, you feel very separated and private. Would go again.

This was the second time I have stayed with Brain and he was exactly as I remembered him, polite, informative and very reactive to any requests we had. Last time I stayed I travelled with my son and this time was with a group of friends. Both trips were to use the accommodation as a base for fishing and the houses are perfectly located in the heart of some of the best fishing venues in Ireland. The houses are very well kept and are equipped with everything you could need. They are also set up to accommodate fishermen with separate areas for storing your bait, fishing tackle and any wet gear that you have. Two big bonuses were the games room with a dart board and pool table, which gave us a place to relax and unwind after a long days fishing in the changeable Irish weather and the access via two row boats to George Lough. I can speak for everyone in our group when I say that there was absolutely nothing that we could complain about. Thank you Brian and Mary for being fantastic hosts.
