The place was nice and convenient for what we needed it for. I would only recommend getting stick on motion lights to place along the staircase.

Linda is an amazing host and is extremely accommodating. She was very easy to contact when my group needed something and she made the stay even more enjoyable. The home was clean, quite and relaxing. I would gladly book again

Our stay started out perfectly, then we had an issue getting into the kitchen. I texted Carlin at the wrong number. Then I realized I was trying to get into the wrong door. This sweet man did everything he could to get me into the wrong door. And now I know everything he has in his supply closet. Best customer service ever!!!! If you stay at this amazing, fantastical, whimsical place, you will be well served by gracious people. I am planning my next trip now. This place is perfect for a girls weekend. The little town nearby has everything you need. I brought my dog down to the gas station with a subway. The most friendly people you will ever meet! Storybook life here. Can’t recommend it enough.

The cottage on the river was the perfect escape that we needed! We wanted the true feeling of a West Virginia vacation with not so many tourists and this was it and more! We’re planning on returning in different seasons!
