As a returning guest, we suspected we would have a wonderful stay. The accommodation is comfortable and well-equipped with a magnificent view of Badacsony. I especially want to highlight Szilvia's attention and helpfulness, and she was always quick and kind to answer our questions. These made us feel really at home.

This was our third time at this beautiful house and we had a fantastic stay as always. Our highlights were: the garden and private lake access for us, the fenced garden for our dog and the high-speed WiFi for my teenage kids.

Amazing place. We were lucky to find it available. The house has absolutely everything you may need for your stay. The views are very nice of Balaton and the House is very well kept.

Gorgeous few days right on the water in beautiful Balaton. Very comfortable house and garden right on the lake. We enjoyed wading out in the lake with our child. The lake is very shallow (around 3ft) for over 100 meters so you can walk out very far on the mud/sand. I would definitely recommend renting/bringing Stand Up Paddle Boards or an inflatable boat so that you can get out to where the lake is deeper to swim. At the moment, these are not provided by the host. There had been a recent invasion of buzzing non-biting midges (Chironomidae/greenish insects) along the shores of Lake Balaton but they only really came out just after sunset and were fascinating to watch. Incredibly relaxing to wake up and have coffee on the dock. 5 star stay!

The host contacted me immediately after booking and had all the useful information about how to find and get into the place. Extremely friendly and direct, and the place is clean, tidy, and equipped with everything you need. We only stayed 1 night, but we'll be back. Thank you so much!

Fantastic home for a peaceful vacation! Beautiful place with an extraordinary view. Growing nuts in the garden provided a lot of shade. The house has a renovated kitchen and bathroom. Hosts are very kind and helpful. The beach is 30 minutes on foot, but you can take local buses and the stop is very close. We recommend visiting the castle and the surrounding hills. Remember there are not many beaches on Balaton where you can be with your dog. Dogs are also not allowed on the beach area in Szigliget.

What a fantastic place! Beautiful Appartment, fantastic surroundings and a beautiful pool. Kitchen was very well equipped and the hostess (Monika) was great, Google translate it was but it helped so much in feeling away from it all. Also the kids absolutely loved it. They make their own wine which adds to the experience. Went for a run in the early morning, very much liked the diverse environment. All in all we really enjoyed our time, the place is fantastic and lives up to the expectation. We might go again next year!

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

We recently stayed at a beautiful cozy country home in Hungary with the whole family, and it was a wonderful experience. Each of us had our own room, all of which were beautifully furnished and had their own bathrooms. The large living room and dining room provided plenty of space for us to relax and enjoy meals together, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. We also really enjoyed the outdoor area, especially the pool and whirlpool, which were great for both relaxation and fun. The kids loved the trampoline and had plenty to keep them entertained. Overall, this vacation home was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, spacious, and had everything we needed for a great stay. We look forward to visiting again!

we had so much fun, my family visited Balaton the first time. the cottage was lovely and we managed to use the fireplace too. no issues at all, highly recommend this place! we are planning to come back in the summer x

My family and I had an excellent time staying at Marta’s place. The pool, hot tub, ping pong table and foosball table were just some of the highlights. We loved the extensive amount of outdoor living space. Some days we used the outdoor grill and even made a porkolt over the gas burner which was already full of gas for our use. We had a few ants in one of the bedrooms and Marta was quick to send somebody over to rectify the situation. Lucky for us the house had enough bedrooms where this was a non issue. My son accidentally broke the glass of one of the kitchen cabinet doors and Marta was very easy to deal with it. I would highly recommend this place again and would consider staying again if my family and would re visit the Balaton. Thank you Marta for the great stay.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It was exactly what we needed: quiet, relaxing and just fantastic. The view was breathtaking. A real highlight at any time of day. Especially the sauna overlooking nature was an absolute experience and made our stay perfect. The house was immaculately clean, tastefully furnished and superbly equipped. Everywhere you can feel how much heart and love this place has been designed, both inside and out. The contact in advance was warm and uncomplicated, and even during our stay you noticed how much the host is because his guests feel completely comfortable. We immediately felt welcome. The location in the middle of nature is just perfect for those seeking peace and relaxation. We will definitely be back. It was one of those special places to just make you feel at home. We arrived at the apartment with our one year old son and our 12-year-old dog, and everything was perfect for our needs. The apartment is quiet, clean, spacious, bright. There is a pool in the garden (not yet operated in May), swing, grassy area. The kitchen is well-equipped and we were able to fully darken with the help of electric blinds.

The place is extremely clean and tastefully furnished. Despite the location on the main road, which means good accessibility, it was very quiet. The beds are very comfortable. Within walking distance are beach, park and some good restaurants, so you are well taken care of. When we were there, the nights were cold. However, we had enough heating. In the kitchen everything was available. The main fuse is designed with 16 amps. Therefore, when heating, you should be careful and not to switch too many devices on at the same time. Annamaria was extremely eager to fulfill every wish and was always available and approachable. She is a great hostess.

Everything was perfect, from the check in to the check out. I recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to spend some days near to the lake. Also the location is perfect, 5 min to the closest supermarket on foot and 5 to the city center by car

The house is very big, clean and comfortable. There are two apartments with separate entrance (one downstairs, and one upstrairs). The apartments are very good equiped, the one downstairs has washing machine. The garden is big, with playground for kids,place for bonfire, two big terrace and big arbor with place for barbecue. The garden has lots of trees, which gives nice shadow during summer days. The house is very close to the beach, which is maybe not very big, but nice, clean and free. Around the beach, there are several restaurants.

Perfect location : close to the beach and a very good place to eat something Hungarian beach food.

We were at the accommodation with our children. As described, a very good vibe, kind, peaceful, comfortable house away from the noise of the world. At the same time, there are many beautiful sights ( castles, stupa, castle, Lake Balaton) easily accessible by car. The stove keeps the heat surprisingly long, so we woke up in the morning in good heat. The kitchen is fully equipped! Ildikó is a very attentive host, he explains everything about heating, electricity, and he was waiting for us with delicious noodles! I recommend this place for nature lovers if you hide from the world.

Very well-equipped home, excellent for either a short or long stay. Children loved having toys to play with and some things for the lake. WiFi up to the challenge of two people on video calls at once, and air conditioning up to the challenge of summer heatwaves! Ramona was very helpful with information about the area and even finding a babysitter. Easy access to a lot of interesting places around the Balaton area, but of all of the beaches Vonyarcvashegy’s was the best anyway!

very good for the price, everything was close by and the beach and a grocery store is right around the corner
