The living room has a very comfortable double bed settee , to easily accommodate another guest. There is a small private garden at the front and the rear of the property,and there is parking available .Only 15 min drive into Glasgow ,and stepps has excellent rail and bus links . Well behaved dogs are welcome to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the Wee Bothy! Our flight was delayed for a whole day but the communication with Adrienne was very good and she even offered us an extra night which was very gracious. The cottage was very charming and very well equipped and the bed was comfortable with luxurious bedding and feather pillows. It was a nice touch to have bird feeders in front of the living room window so that we were able to watch the birds from the sofa. The estate and the gardens were vast and beautiful and we even bumped into Michael who gave us a little tour of the grounds on his cart. Do watch out for the pheasants when arriving by car as they do wander on the roads.

I booked with Tara for a work trip, the property was perfect. Nice and quiet with enough parking for us. Tara was extremely helpful in answering all my questions prior to the stay, and also during as I amended the dates and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely recommend!

A fantastic find. A relaxing weekend was what we wanted and exactly what we got. A beautiful cottage set in stunning surroundings with every amenity you could wish for and less than half an hour from Glasgow. The cottage is very well equipped. With everything you could possibly need for your break, including the elusive really comfy beds! Derek was an amazing host! Who was keen to ensure our stay was all that we wanted it to be and more. It said rare find at our booking and it lived up to its name. Whether you are looking for a quiet relaxing break or a bolt hole to visit the Ayrshire coast this cottage and host would be your perfect destination!!
