The cottage offers a real moment of escape, quiet and super well equipped. Emilie was very responsive and very flexible on check-in and check-out conditions. The field with cows and deer offers a real plus for kids and even adults. We'll be happy to come back to this perfect cottage for 2 families with 5 children.

Great house with plenty of space indoors and outdoors. Felt really at home and was very well looked after. Christian lit the fire every afternoon while I was at work and the house was warm and welcoming when I got home. The bed made me think it’s time to change my own. Slept very well there.

We had an exceptional stay in this beautiful country house, perfectly suited for a group of 10 people. The setting is idyllic, surrounded by nature. The house is spacious, very well equipped and tastefully decorated. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas warm, and the kitchen has everything you need to prepare good group meals. Special mention for the outdoors: a large garden with a large lake, ideal for relaxing, and a terrace perfect for alfresco dining. Hosts are very welcoming, responsive, and concerned about the well-being of their guests. We recommend this house without a second thought and will be happy to come back!

Hugues welcomed us very warmly,my grandson was able to see the cows,calves, pigs. We took a lunch to offer a very generous Hugues share and with excellent farm products. I highly recommend staying with or without children for a change of scenery. Wonderful stay thank you Hugues

Clean, modern and peaceful accommodation.. Small inconvenience very complicated to find a parking space.

Very nice cottage for large groups with children (games, blillard, kicker, garden hut are great). Recommended village for lovers of forest walks in remote places. The cottage is clean and as described. Rare in cottages: storage space for your groceries and equipment! Small downsides: the bedrooms on the 2nd (family suite) fully open and lack of hot water if everyone is showering at the same time. Nothing catastrophic, I highly recommend this cottage.

We had wonderful days in this beautiful cottage. The front garden, where the terrace is on, lies on the provincial road where a lot of traffic comes over, so it is not really quiet outside. If you're inside, it doesn't really bother you. Isabel is a dune sweet person, and via Google translate we could understand each other well. Unfortunately, the WiFi didn't work.

Had a wonderful stay. Quiet location in beautiful surroundings. Ideally located also to do a hike to Chimay center where part through the forest and part between undulating landscapes. The house was very neat with large rooms, an integral kitchen and hygienic bathroom(s). In addition, there are also plenty of activities to do with the billiards table, petanque and board games available. Repeatable.
