We had a great week staying at Matti's place. The hosts were very friendly, chekcing in with us daily and offering local tips. The nature around is amazing with several beautiful lakes to swim, forest filled with mushrooms and berries. The only minus was the guest house was facing the main house. We would have enjoyed a view to the fields or forest but it was a minor detail. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend this place.

We had an unforgettable time in this little house by the lake! The location is fantastic: right on the water, surrounded by nature and complete tranquility. Wandering over the quiet lake in the morning was simply magical. The house is cozy, very clean and furnished with love. Everything you need is there – from the well-equipped kitchen to comfortable beds. The evenings on the terrace overlooking the sunset were particularly beautiful. The host was extremely friendly, helpful and always available. We felt completely comfortable and welcome. If you are looking for nature, peace and Swedish idyll, this is the place to be. We will be happy to come back and can absolutely recommend this cottage. Tack så mycket for this wonderful time!

We spent two peaceful days at the cozy log cabin in Fågeldalen, Bäck, during our Sweden trip, and it was an absolute delight. The cabin was spotless, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated with a lot of love and care. We especially enjoyed the outdoor shower — such a refreshing experience! The surrounding nature is incredibly calm and serene, perfect for unwinding. Frederik was a kind and attentive host, and meeting his lovely dog Noah was truly a highlight. His tips for local excursions were spot on and much appreciated. We wholeheartedly recommend this special place — it’s a little gem in the Swedish countryside.

Beautiful house located in the forest by the lake. Nothing is missing, Josefina was helpful and quickly responded to our doubts. She also gave us special tips on fishing, which were very useful. I can definitely recommend this home.
